this product reflects improvement to foodsaver equipment. my earlier foodsaver vacuum systems had earlier and lessor solutions to the food preservation process. this one has previous limitations addressed i.e. better bag material handling and, most significant for me, the machine seals without a need for operator to apply any pressure at all.

It sucks,even my neighbor agrees. Wanted one of the flat design, you sent me this so called update, I wanted one of the flat ones, had couple of those, this so called new design really sucks, Twice as long to operate when it works, Had a couple of friends try it they couldn't get it to work on a regular bases, something wrong with the electronics. Never again

Bought this maybe a month ago. Looking at it when unboxing thought it might be difficult to use but after first use, I had no problems with using it. I had another cheap brand. I thought it worked well until I used this one. I like the resealable bags ( like zip loc bags ). It seals better and faster than the other one we had. Also like the roll storage and how easy it is to use. Should had bought one years ago. Would and have recommended foodsaver to friends. I love it!!!

I bought this FoodSaver FM5460 2-in-1 Food Preservation System for my niece and her newly wedded husband recently and they used it the same day it was delivered and have had a ball with it. I had told her she could even put her jewelry in the bags and store them in their freezer. They have really enjoyed it and have been recommending it to their friends in Birmingham, Alabama. My Foodsaver is 13 years old and still going strong and I can't say enough great things about it. My husband loved it the first time he used it and tells all his friends at work about the great results we've had with no freezer burned items to throw away in the freezers. The waste is non-existant now and we tell all of our friends about Food Saver Systems now.

Bought a month ago. Seals tighter and fast. Bought the cold cut tray and it seals very well and when you open the lid you hear the swish sound go out. Very happy with this purchase. My old floodwater was 17 years old. Thank you for lowering the price.

us it weekly no problems Some have had issues with the containers I have 6 of them and never had a problem been using this one for 2months. Have been using food savers for over 20 years. Also have big game food saver . Like this one better easy to use and less bag waste

I finally gave my 15 year old FoodSaver to my son and replaced it with the FM5460. What a wonderful machine. With Covid going on, we've purchased many items in bulk and this machine has been a life saver. It has the ability to handle all of my needs and does so quickly and easily. Love it.

Have owned a food saver for the last 25 years! Although I do miss the Professional III Plus by Tillia, this device does everything I used to. My only concern is the accessory device which is itself very well designed for multiple adapters however the self retracting vaccuum tube mechanism is of concern as I do not find it easy to trouble shoot and/or replace should it lock up either retracted and/or extended. There should also be another external accesory port in case the internal one fails.

II didn't think I would use this after I got it, it just seemed to be too much work. But now...I LOVE IT! I seal everything; potato chips bags, cereal, snack crackers, if it's in a bag it will get sealed. I used my first zip lock bag today to freeze my bacon bits. It's fantastic! So much faster & easier than finding a clip. I'm so glad I spent the money on this product.

This new machine replaces an older model, we grow a lot of fresh herbs and spices. As we pick and dry, we package using the food saver. Since the first freeze was last weekend, we now have about 10 pounds of fresh green tomatoes. Which will be fresh green fried tomatoes, over the winter. I buy bulk beef, package it and have great meals all winter and summer. As produce comes in season, we bulk buy and process everything. A fresh ear of corn on a snowy day, makes you think its 4 of July. Best money anyone can ever spend, buying a foodsaver.
