Very interesting texture... seems a little flimsy but was pleasantly surprised with its strong hold (zipper) and the quality. I try and use containers when I can in place of plastic to recuse my carbon footprint but will definitely start using these as a green alternative. Package could be a little smaller as it looks like the product can easily fit in half the size of the box.

I like that the product says compostable all over the front side as my kids, who will use these in their lunches, will easily be able to follow through with proper disposal when they are done. Having it green rather than clear also helps identify it's not plastic. The product feels exactly like the ones I use for my kitchen compost bin. Once I used the Ziploc compostable bag I realized that it is a bit thicker and feels more durable. The bag was easy to open and reseal. Another bonus when being used by kids! Love that it will not be going to the landfill!

I find these to be a really good alternative for plastic sandwich bags. They are very durable even though they feel a bit flimsy compared to regular plastic sandwich bags. I also enjoyed that they are compostable as the plastic ones are not recyclable in my area; the only downside to this is that it specifies that you cannot compost the bags in your backyard compost. Overall, these are still a fantastic alternative to tossing single-use plastic sandwich bags into the landfills!

The Ziploc bags works great! It is just like the ordinary Ziploc bags you get but I'm happy to know this product is compostable. This product is a step in a greener direction as opposed to the plastic wastes we're producing! This makes for a great alternative when you're wanting to use a Ziploc for either a quicker purpose or for something messy while knowing it has a greener footprint!

The compostable Ziploc Sandwich Bag feels exactly the same as their regular sandwich bags. The material of the sandwich bag feels as sturdy as the regular bags along with a strong seal so I don't have to worry about potential leaks. It is an added bonus to know that these bags can help reduce the amount of waste going into the landfill.

Bought this product as we use compostable garbage bags already and was intrigued to see this product now as we use many sandwich bags for my husbands lunch which is always on the go so no place or time for containers or anything mostly reusable. It is the same product as the normal sandwich bag (same size and closing mechanism) but compostable which for us is important as we teach our kids to use less plastic. Works the same as the regular sandwich bags. A little pricey still but will for sure be something to keep an eye on as a product to use.

The Ziploc New Compostable Sandwich Bags are both great quality and eco friendly as I use sandwich bag regularly to pack lunches buying the Ziploc Compostable bag will make it both better for the environment and reduce plastic waste all while paying almost the same price as plastic

Absolutely LOVE this product! Coming from parents who traditionally send portioned items (raw chicken, raw ground beef, etc.) home with us each week in traditional Ziploc bags, having to throw out such single-use plastic on a weekly basis leaves me feeling very guilty when throwing these bags away. These compostable bags are equally durable and the fact that they are compostable takes the regret and worry away when having to throw them out. I applaude Ziploc for coming up with this bag concept and helping to preserve the planet through their efforts! I WILL be repurchasing these bags!

I tried ziplock compostable bag, and I really like the product. First, the bag sealed very well, it's very easy to open and reseal, so I can reuse the bag for few times. Second, I used the bag to pack my lunch, such as cookie, vegetable, and some snacks. It's very easy to use. Third, using compostable bag is good for our environment, as it's zero waste. I love the product.

I receive this free product from field agent Canada for my honest opinion. I like the Ziploc brand, it's about time they do something like this, but I found this bag a bit small, nice texture, no strange smell. I found it a bit pricy, but I think it good for the planet. My kids will love it since the always forget food in their lunch bag. This bag it easy to open not tearing apart.
