We used to buy the wild caught Argentinian red shrimp, but these smell so much less "fishy" than the kind from Argentina.

Better than Members Mark brand. They quit selling this brand and the previous brand of Gulf Shrimp. Now it all comes from India.

I don’t trust food practices from overseas companies. We have plenty of seafood off USA coasts. Pay a little more for safety.

One if the best purchases at Sam’s! I will only buy wild gulf shrimp . Sam’s has the best price and the product is outstanding ! I have recommended this product to several friends that bought a Sam’s membership to purchase this item .

Great value to have on hand for shrimp recipes.

As a single person household, it is much easier to purchase frozen shrimp rather than fresh each time I want to eat it. I was attracted to the package which advertised "wild caught Gulf Shrimp". I have purchased similar items from Sam's Club in the past and they were always of good quality. However, this package was different. When thawed the shrimp was soft and mushy feeling. There were several which had not been cleaned - I deveined them myself. The taste of the shrimp is best described as bland and boring. Previous purchases (different packaging/company?) were vastly superior to this frozen garbage. It will be the last time I purchase this.

I live very close to the Caribbean and want to support local fishermen, this is a good product it is not soft and mushy like some of the others and I use it for ceviche. I do cook my ceviche very slightly I bring water to a boil pour in shrimp that have thought on the counter for an hour bring it back to 180° and then turn it off they are not overcooked and they are delicious
