After using a Ninja blender for years and not being happy with the smoothie consistency I decided that this was the year to try a Vitamix. I went with the ascent because I wanted to make it easy on myself and wife to have a dedicated smoothie button so we could just load up the blender and go about our morning. This Ninja is no comparison to this blender. The smoothies are always silky smooth with no chunks, it even obliterates chia seeds so you don’t know your drinking them. Highly recommend this blender!!

Perfect blender! Has all the settings needed abs love to be able to control myself. The gray color is beautiful. Blends smoothies so smooth and soups perfectly! Haven’t tried anything other than those 2 things at moment but will update as I do. Very powerful and cleans itself amazingly. Love the 3 presets for things I plan to make most. also just purchased accessories so will review those soon. I love the size of container for huge batches of soup or multiple smoothies or ice cream at once. Plan to get smaller container for every day use.

I've had my Vitamix for a little over 2 years and I will never go back to a standard blender. I've made smoothies, blended mixed drinks, soups, sauces, salsas, even chocolate mousse. Every time they come out perfect. I know it's a big investment but you wont regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this blender several months ago. I am incredibly disappointed that it frequently overheats and stops working. It has overheated while blending different things, that were not difficult blending jobs.

I have the S series and I love it for its personal usage however, there are t8mes I need to blend a lot of things when I have company. If Vitamix would create both the 48oz and 64oz container for the sis series this would be great. Customers would be able to enjoy the 40 oz for personal usage and purchase a bigger container for family and friends separately. Trust me it beats having to purchase a ninja or any other blender to fulfill these needs. Vitamix is great and I don’t mind having the parts. It would be my everything machine. Thanks!

I've owned this blender over a year and use it for everything from smoothies to soups, nut butters, and oat milk. I still prefer a food processor for nice cream but I love having a blender strong enough to handle thick smoothies with lots of ingredients!

This Blender is awesome. Then again pretty much all of Vitamix merchandise is excellent quality and usability. I'm a guy who wants my tools\hoise hold appliances to work and work well. I will pay extra to get a good product. This vitamix doesn't disappoint. If you are looking for an Ascent series blender and want just a few preprogrammed settings this is it. Would highly recommend.

I received my blender last week and I can't begin to tell you how much I love it, my entire family for that matter. We are huge smoothie fans over here and on most days that's our breakfast. I like to get a jump on this in the early morning hours and I was over the moon with how quiet it is! That's a HUGE plus in my book. Nothing say good morning like a noisy blender going for 10 minutes. Smoothies made in record time and out the door we go! And the power behind this baby is AWESOME. No more measuring cups or waiting on things to blend before adding another ingredient. I recently had fun experimenting with a new recipe using pistachios and the texture came out so smooth and even. I feel proud to have my Vitamix. I am on a personal journey to better health, and to learning to love real food. My Vitamix is helping me on that road, one vegetable and fruit at a time. After year after year of buying other unnamed blenders that repeatedly disappointed, I am now on this Vitamix fix.

I was wanting this Vitamix since a long time ago and finally I got it! I’m super happy with this product just like what I expected. Durable and smooth container, very easy to clean, the machine works just perfect. Making smoothies everyday became my routine.
