[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stanley PPS12CF is a beast of a roadside assistance device. It is fairly large but also very durable. It uses a sealed lead acid battery to provide power for the 1200A. jump starter, air compressor, LED work light, and USB charging ports. The air compressor works well and has an auto shut-off feature. Simply set the PSI desired and turn it on. I found it to be very accurate when measured with an external gauge after I set it to 36 PSI, and it was not as loud as other portable air compressors I commonly use. I did not feel like i needed hearing protection inside a closed garage while it was in use. I do think there are a couple of areas of improvement for this device, though. There is no room to store the required AC charging adapter or any USB cables for charging other devices. If the compartment with the air hose were a little larger, there would have been room for these accessories. It would have been nice if this unit could have been charged over the USB-C port instead of requiring a dedicated AC adapter as well. If the AC adapter gets lost or broken, you have no method to recharge the battery. Otherwise, this is a very capable, albeit large, roadside assistance jump starter.

I have used as a way to charge my phones as well. The air pump works on smaller tires but, I would not recommend it for truck tires. I used it on my friend’s Expedition and it only filled it about 3/4 of the way before from completely flat. Before it shut down, to keep it from over heat. I definitely recommend it for the price.
