It easily jump-starts most vehicles and the 120 PSI compressor is useful, though a bit slow with a short hose. The USB ports and LED light are nice extras. It’s bulky and needs monthly recharging, but overall, it’s a solid backup to keep in your trunk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having the Stanley Peak Amp jumper and compressor! It gives me such a peace of mind to have it in my trunk for if I have a car emergency. It can jump your battery, check your tire pressure and fill them up, or check your alternator, it’s so versatile and useful! It’s small and portable, so very easy to keep stored in your trunk (just make sure you charge it up every few months) and made out of very durable materials. Everyone should have one of these for those what-if moments! The only thing I had trouble with was initially figuring out how to turn this off. I had to end up searching the internet because it was a bit tricky and I had trouble finding this in the manual, but you have to turn off the LED first and then turn off the USB to completely power down the device.

I found this to be quite functional especially the air compressor and ability to dial in a specific air pressure though a little on the loud side very helpful. While this does have the ability to jump a large truck battery I feel it could have been improved by replacing the lead acid battery with a lithium battery for weight and size savings that is the reason for the one star deduction. The led light is also very bright and would come in handy if using at night. Overall would be a good investment.

This portable charger not only is equipped for jump starting your car, but it also has a large amount of quality of life features. Firstly the jumper: there is a built in placement detector, which will let you know if you have the jumper cables placed incorrectly. In addition, there is an air compressor built in, which nicely tucks into the unit. There are also spots for USB charging, as well as a light with adjustable angles. All of this is built into a unit that is fairly light weight and has a handle for easy carrying. Overall I'm very impressed with this unit.
