This coffee maker is a good idea but doesn't perform well. The coffee brewed is not hot enough regardless of whether it is a pod or carafe. When I make a cup from a pod or pour from the carafe, I have to warm the cup in the microwave for 30 seconds to get a suitably warm cup of coffee. I even pre-warm my coffee cup.

I am very happy with this coffee maker. I like Cuisinart as a brand and this machine did not disappoint. Coffee is great and very hot. Both the carafe side and single pod side work Perfectly. Coffee pours well from the pot and does not drip at all.Pod side is fast and I love the fact you can adjust cup size for 8,10 or 12oz as well as a little platform For your coffee cup to sit on while brewing for no splash. For me the only improvement would be a timer on the clock feature that tells you how long the coffee has been brewed. That was a feature on the previous coffee maker I had that I really liked. However , I am really happy with this newer version and the options it offers. I would highly recommend this product.

Very poor construction of the pod portion of this machine. Every second or third pod will rip open a spew coffee grounds everywhere. And I’ve spent over two hours trying to clean the residual grounds out. I think maybe the water is under too much pressure. The carafe portion works well except it doesn’t pause very well when the carafe is removed. Excellent warming plate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Cuisinart 2 in 1 in October and had trouble with the pod portion in June so returned it for the same model. I have had the replacement for a few weeks and have already had trouble again with the pod portion. I occasionally have a cupful of grounds. It’s not every day but I can’t figure out what the problem is. Pretty disappointing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 2-in-1 coffee maker 2 weeks ago. It is high quality and sturdy. I like that the lid to the carafe snaps on and is not hinged. It makes a fantastic cup of coffee. I’m not thrilled that I have to change filters every 60 cups.

Doesn’t work with k cups. The machine attempted to overpressure the cup causing them to explode and leak water and grounds everywhere. Happened several times even after cleaning the machine. Oh, it was only days old. Returned and bought new keurig machine.

This machine is what I have been looking, just by looking at it it makes me feel better( great looking design,the color the style,) the single pod dispenser it’s a plus if you are in a rush! The pre-Programmable function makes this machine so convenient! It needs two water filters, one for each function!! The price it’s right ! I would buy it again Price its right!! I’m hoping will last me at least pass 3 years.

I had this model replaced at least 4 times. Each time it was something different. One issue was the heating element another was it just stopped brewing. Previous to buying this I had a different coffee maker brand which lasted me over a decade( almost 20 years). I bought this because I have other cuisinart products that are quality products- but this machine is not.

We purchased this cuisinart to replace an older model which was seven years old and still working fine but did not have a single serve pod. Coffee maker is excellent and it is nice to have the option to make a pot or single cup. It is easy to operate, looks great on the counter and has an excellent warranty..we have had several cuisinart coffeemakers over the years and have had a positive experience with each one. The cuisinart is a nice size for the counter

Among its other attributes, this appliance is a great space saver! It is well made, makes great coffee and has great temperature control. It is the perfect size for limited counter space and I love all the handy and easy-to-use functions! It does only puncture one hole in the pods, but that doesn't seem to make a difference in the coffee as compared to the Keurig that it replaced. The only downside is that it is a little more "vocal" than my previous Cuisinart coffee maker, but I will trade a tiny bit of perking noise for all the other plusses.
