Overall this is a fabulous coffee machine. he only thing I would have liked would have been to allow my old single serving cup, which I filled with my own coffee and used in my old machine does not fit in this machine. Yes they have a separate reusable filter cup and a removable capsule holder. I just would have liked to have only the removable capsule holder and beable to insert my reusable filter cup into it.

I love Cuisnart coffee maker- it replaces 2 items on my counter. I had a coffee maker that seem to take long time to brew even after cleaning and a one cup tea maker. The start up instructions were unclear, but after (my daughter figured it out) it is simple to run and quick to fill. I love the single cup for both coffee and hot water for tea. Haven't use the carafe much but will for family gatherings. Cuisnart is a brand I trust for longevity and quality as I have a food processor and double sided waffle maker that are great also. This is the second coffee maker of similar design that I have purchased the previous one I used for about 15 to 17 years every day that I owned it it finally gave out and I decided to go with the same design from Cuisinart, knowing how well the first one was made and operated

Bought this unit to replace a Keurig that Ed had for about 8 years. We are using it with our K Cups. Have not tried out the pot brew feature as of yet. What I do not like is the refill tank is located on the rear of the machine. This makes it difficult for refilling. In addition it takes quite a bit of effort to close the K cup holder down when puncturing a new pod. Also the cover for the water tank should be hinged instead of removable. The quality of the machine seems to be good.

I recently bought my first Cuisinart coffee maker to replace a broken one. I bought the 2-IN-1 Center Combo Brewer make and this coffee maker makes the best coffee of any of the coffee makers I've owned. When my last coffee maker broke, I got the same brand as I had before but the coffee it made was bland. I particularly enjoy the pod portion of the maker which allows me to fill the water reservoir and select the number of oz I need for the particular size I had.

This machine leaks terribly! The K cup reservoir leaked all over my counter, the carafe lid doesn't just flip open to add water, you have to yank it off by the spout, and to top it off when I poor a cup of coffee, coffee leaks from the spout all over the counter. I really thought I was buying a beautiful appliance, but nothing works right. I'm going to figure out how to return it and switch back to my stored Hamilton Beach!!!!!

So far I'm quite pleased with my purchase. Everything is laid out for easy access and use. I appreciate having the ability to change the temperature of the hotplate and the auto off. Also like the "bold" function. I've used the reusable k cup numerous times using my own coffee. Really like this when all I want is a quick cup without having to purchase more expensive k cups. Would I recommend... Absolutely.

This is the third coffee center we've had in the last year and a half. The first one the single cup side died with in 6 months. The second one, the single cup died within 4-5 months. This one we've had less than 6 months. We'll see how long it lasts. Otherwise, everything else works just fine

I had a Hamilton Beach combo K-cup, carafe coffee maker and it made a mess with each K Cup and took forever to brew. My new Cuisinart combo coffee maker solved my problem of messes and is super fast. I love how hot the coffee in the carafe stays and the whole unit is smaller than my other one. It was a great purchase for me!

When you lift the lid to put coffee grounds in, condensate from the previous brew will run down the back and onto counter. The grounds basket must be pushed down and seated in place otherwise coffee mixed with grounds will spill over on to the counter surface and inside of the reservoir. It is difficult to pour water, using coffee the pot, into the reservoir without it running down the pot and onto the floor.
