used 2 days in year one. stored in climate controlled garage in single winter. ensured no water in system. 1st use in year 2, the high pressure valve connect blows apart during use. The diecast aluminum! picture attached. fortunately, it hit the steps in front of me, and not me, b/c the piece of shrapnel is sharp as a knife. Now here's my issue: go to Troybilt and look for support. I type the modelnumber into their support system, it shows nothing. I can't create a support case, must be live chat. chat says open til 7 EDT, but closed at 5:04. I spent 40 minutes trying to run down support to get a replacement part. this is hogwash. back to sam's. diecast metal break? unbelievable. trying to attach images

I've been looking for a new one for awhile and found this one on sale. It's late November and I didn't really want to get water in the pump but had to test it just in case there is an issue. Filled with the oil they provided (Amsoil nonetheless) added gas and it started on the 1st pull! Used it for about 10 minutes and shut it off. Definitely has good pressure and volume. Blew water out of pump with air and used the recommended Pump Guard to store for winter. I bought this brand because I have a Troybilt lawn mower that is 3 years old now and still starts on the 1st pull EVERYTIME. Hope this one lasts!

Liked: - I called the service number with questions and was connected with a very knowledgeable, helpful representative. - Easy to assemble - Included a bottle of oil - Works very well (my house looks great now that it's no longer covered in mold, algae, and grime) - Usually starts after 2-4 pulls Didn't Like: - Did not include a "green tip" nozzle - Did not include a seal-saver - Did not include a full owner's manual - On my 3rd usage, as I was pulling the starter cord, the the engine turned over causing the handle to slip out of my hand, hit the throttle (which is made of plastic), and break it off. Now, my throttle is semi-permanently set to "max." This issue isn't too much of a problem, since I'd only ever reduce the throttle from max for long-term storage. When that time comes, I can use a screwdriver to change the throttle setting, but it won't be an easy process. - Air tires: On a unit this size, a solid-core tire would be more durable and less maintenance over the long-run. - No handle at waist level: To move this unit, you have to bend over, lift by the front handle, and pull it along. Pushing it isn't really option. On the one hand, not having a waist-level handle makes moving the washer less convenient, but on the other hand, storing it is easier.

So far so good. I like the way it works. Runs well and starts easy.

Was looking to get a new pressure washer for a while. My old one finally gave out and was lucky to get this one on sale. It was really easy to put together. Pretty much two screws, pour in oil, connect hoses,turn on water and you are good to go. First start was concerning since it ran for 5 seconds and died. Started up again same issue. Took choke off and it ran. This is a noticeably more power than my old 2600psi one. It clean the driveway and fence with ease. So why only 3 stars. Well the spray gun trigger was noticeably harder to pull than my old one which was an aftermarket brand. I decided to use my old one with made it much easier. My biggest problem was going to shut the machine off. I go to turn the fuel lever from on to off, still running. Tried it a few more times. No change. So I decided to turn it off using the switch. It turned off but gave me a surprise when it backfired a little flame from the exhaust. I continue to use it to finish my project and each time I shut it off. There's some backfire. Make sure you read the yellow paper that comes in the box. There's number on there for warranty issues. I called them and was told that if the repair shop deems the problem is not a manufacturing issue I will have to pay for the repair. Which was not what I expected with a product that I bought 2 months ago. Now I'm deciding on returning or taking it to warranty repair shop. I like that is powerful and easy to move around but kind of disappointed with the customer support. By the way, Sams didn't offer me an exchange. They only offer a refund and rebuy. I didn't want to because the item is no longer on sale.

purchases @ troybilt pressure washers and the quality is garbage. One returned as it never would start and had to rebuy the other the pump fails on the second use. I have used pressure washers for over 20 years and have never had an issue with a new unit until now. I had to use my old pressure washer that has a 1000 hours on it to do the job.
