Stale stay away from purchasing

The pastry was a little tough. Not flaky and I have had from other stores

Our grandchildren love these slightly warm, and they are always fresh.

Just didn't have that good of taste.

Yum. I love these. We heat them up in the air fryer for just a couple minutes. Cheese is my preferred, cherry is delicious, the apple is nice if you're into it. Mmm

bought these today, just ate a "cheese Danish" what a joke! they should not even be called a Danish! worst thing I have ever purchased. if you are expecting a flaky pastry, run away from these! more like a bread that failed!

This seems to be the standard Walmart/Sam's "jip" in all their in-store bakeries. They put just enough of the enticing ingredient on (usually at the edge or in the center) the pastry to make it look appetizing. Then when you bite into it, you find out you've bought a "dough and a little sugar" rip off. If you close your eyes and taste any Walmart/Sam's pastry, you'd be hard pressed to identify it. They all taste about the same. Don't be fooled.

I buy danish all the time from Walmart and went to Sam's Club for the first time since becoming a member. The Club is farther away so I normally just look for things we can ship, but we went in-store and I bought this danish since the danish rounds were larger than Walmart (or seem to be). Unfortunately, these tasted awful. The bread part tasted old, the cheese filling almost had no flavor, the fruit cherry filling tasted like can filling. I literally had to throw it away (no way I'm taking in empty calories when the food isn't a pleasure to eat). It was supposed to be a fun food to enjoy. My teen son also ate one and said the same, how bad it was. So it wasn't just me. There is no way to return this since I'd have to drive an hour to get to the store. It would cost me more in gas to drive to the store to return this. Sam's Club doesn't seem to have a return option online where you can request a refund either. Very disappointed.
