One dog wont take unless I put peanut butter on, the other dog likes them. After just a few hours I picked dead ticks off the dogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As treats go, these are chewy, smell nice, and seem to be pretty tasty to Lola. I’m not sure of the efficacy of the flea/tick ingredients as she is on a medicine for that already, but considering flea and tick pills are poisonous to dogs as well as fleas and ticks (why do you think humans don’t take them?), this is worth giving a shot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fed my 12 year old Vizsla, Makenzy, the recommended dosage (3 pieces for 51-100lbs) and she gobbled them right up. This is one picky dog so that is no small feat! It is hard to quantify the long term efficacy of them but so far so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I cannot guarantee this does what it claims, I can tell you I feel better knowing my dog has the extra protection. Walter has an overbite and a lot of harder supplements and chews are easy for him to manage so he just won’t try. These are soft and Walter gets so excited when I grab one to give to him. We back up to a large natural grassy area that has a creek and it makes me feel better knowing he has some extra back up in his routine to help prevent fleas and ticks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started Lilith, my 10 year old fox terrier on VetIQ flea and Tick Hickory flavored chess and she loves them! I'm happy because they are made with all natural ingredients. The chess do not leave a funny smell on her breath and I do think her hair is looking better. I really don't think they keep the fires off of her but I do feel there are less than usual. We live in a highly wide area and she is bound to bring in the occasional flea.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave my dog a sample of these treats. She couldn’t wait to try it, and was getting excited about them from the smell alone. Once she had them, she devoured them quickly. I can’t vouch for the flea and tick repelling aspects, as it is the colder time of the year here, where they are less common, so time will tell there. But, at least there’s no doubts she likes them.

There is very few brands of dog treats that he will even try, he refuses to eat any brand of wet dog food, and forget about trying to give him any medications. He will eventually eat his dry dog food, but it is only after he has failed at pathetically begging each and every person in the house for whatever food they are eating. Once everyone is done eating and he finally accepts that our food is gone, only then will he sadly eat his kibble, one tiny morsel at a time. So, it was not a huge surprise when he refused to try the VetIQ Flea and Tick Support Hickory Smoke flavored soft chews. I was really hoping that he would try them as he has a terrible reaction to flea bites and the flea prevention tablet that we get from the vet is very expensive. Unfortunately, I can't tell you whether or not this product works, or if your dog will even like it... however I can say that if you are battling with fleas & ticks, then this product is definitely worth a try!
