I really like the way it looks. The new mods of a seat and eating bar on the opposite side have made this product even better. It doesn't provide much shade, so I put 2 x 4's in between the roof 2 x 2's and it gives us shade from the hit Texas sun. X

I bought this last June, and it arrived fairly quickly. I paid my landscape architect to assemble it and with a 2.5 person crew, it took about 4 hours. Lots of pieces, but they figured it out. The pergola is solid and the color is beautiful. It has withstood several storms and gusty wind days this past year. To protect , maintain, and preserve the cedar for years to come, I'm planning to put a clear coat of stain on it later this month. I am really satisfied with how it looks. I just wish they made them taller.

Price is far less than others, but quality is not much less. Very happy with my purchase, using it as a decorative car port in an area too small for anything else. Did need to re-drill 3-4 holes in the top slats, but the rest fit together well. Recommend reading the instructions.

Mine has been up for 2 months now and it has completely transformed my patio. Installation is a breeze if you can follow simple directions and take your time. My wife and I put our pergola together in about 4-5 hours. The quality of the materials is much more nicer than any other pergola kit I have seen at the big box stores, I’m confident it will last for many years.

I bought this pergola late last summer and it was put up later in a raised area. I'm very pleased with it, as it looks fantastic. A few people passing by in vehicles have slowed down and looked at it. As the decking around the pergola will be completed soon, I look forward to enjoying it for a long time to come. The instructions and labelling of the associated pieces were as clear as a bell. It is better for two people to put it up as it is rather heavy, but once it is installed, it is eye candy.

Directions were easy to follow, I recommend 3 people to assemble. Took us about 3 to 4 hrs to complete, hardware included was excellent quality and cedar boards went together perfectly. Altogether a good product. We put it up Christmas Day and Boxing Day, with some help from my brother who was visiting. There were some boards that were a bit warped but it wasn't enough to keep it from going together. We did need to re-drill a few holes that didn't line up properly, but we had tools so it wasn't a problem. AND they included extra hardware of every kind, which we didn't actually need with this kit but have with others (which can be a real nuisance). The least satisfactory issue was the freight company, Estes Freight. It sat in the Phoenix warehouse for a week before they got it out to us, and no-one there would answer the phone or return our calls.

I wish I had looked into getting one of these sooner. I debated on whether to pay for assembly or not and went without, and it was not hard for my husband and I to assemble it ourselves. Now we and our whole family spend a lot of time out there. We do game nights, meals, hanging out. I was a bit worried about it during some storms but it wasn’t impacted at all.

We bought this a couple of months ago but had to wait to have slab put in after contractor had a family emergency. Now that slab was put in and waited the 10 days to cure enough my wife and I did the project ourselves which took 2 full days plus stained it. Not bad being in our 70’s. Know that it is done we are loving the time we get to spend using it.
