I can't beleive how quiet this dishwasher is! And I love the small shelf at the top for cutlery. It really frees up a lot of space in the bottom section. Also love the fact that the shelves can be adjusted in height giving you all kinds of flexibility depending upon what you have in it that day.

It is hard to imagine what the sound of 50dB is. This one is 48dB. When it arrived and was hooked up we ran a cycle. It it so QUIET! It has been cleaning great.

Issue dish washer just beeps if you try to add a dish while washing with out jumping through hoops to get it going again. Drying is poor unless you open the door when its done all plastics stay wet. Buttons are to easy to bump if you are working at the counter and this will cause it to start washing dishes even if you do not want it to, only fix is to lock the key pad, child lock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our other dishwasher was over 20+ years old and what a difference in the clening that this LG dishwasher makes dishes feel sooo clean. Use the 3rd rack some but probably wouldn't miss it if I took it out. Not crazy about the silverware basket - would rather put all the forks in one, small spoons, etc. together. Could do that with the slits but more trouble than I'm interested in. I'm sure I'll get use to it. But overall a GREAT dishwasher.

We purchased our new L.G. # LDFN4542B dishwasher one month ago and it is "Great". Very quite, cleans really good and dries the dishes great. L.G. products have been very good for us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the color choice, some features are standard. The racks inside need a complete makeover. The bottom rack needs to be on rails like other middle to higher end models. It does not load well at all. It is not a recommended purchase

so far so good. dishwasher has all the features we needed and does a very good job cleaning and drying. it is very quiet and we enjoy the cute chime at the end of the cycle telling us it is done. haven't had it long to go all out 5 stars, but right now we have no issues so far.

I love the 3rd rack! I’ve always put long tools on the top rack of the dishwasher so with this 3rd rack it gives me extra space! Cleans perfectly! Easy installation, I was able to install the dishwasher myself! Rated at a 4 because of the fact that I can’t put taller cups on the 2nd rack due to the space for the 3rd rack. And the bottom rack seems to not hold as much as my previous dishwasher. Usually I’m able to put my frying pan in the bottom rack to be washed but due to the size of this dishwasher I have to really maneuver items around to get it to fit properly. I’ve mainly been just washing the pots and pans due to size. Also the run time of the dishwasher is approx 2 hours+ and this is much longer than I anticipated.

I bought this almost 2 months ,kitchen remodel. It’s is quiet. I like that utensil basket can be removed for more space and the top utensil rack. I also like being able to read the controls when the door is closed. I do not like the collapsing racks as the clips keep popping off. Requires help seeing where they go and reinstalling

Right off the bat we had a problem with the 3rd rack not sliding in and out smoothly. Had to deal with online repair request and finally able to get a repairman to fix the problem. Sprayer apparatus on top of machine had fallen down slightly and was blocking the ability of the rack to slide in and out smoothly. Now we've noticed that there is a "motor " or something still running in the door hours after a wash cycle has run. Need to call LG again and find out what this issue is.
