The only feature we don't use is the very top rack, we are used to putting silverware in a basket so that's what we continue to do. The top rack is hardly used, I may take it out, not sure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aside from looking great from the outside, this dishwasher is super quiet. When I ran it for the first time, I thought it was broke because it so was quiet. It definitely wasn’t broken but I had been so accustomed to nosier dishwashers. My dishes were clean and I’m in love with the 3rd rack. I also love that fingerprints don’t show on the exterior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this for a couple of months. It Is great! Makes clean up time in the kitchen so much faster and easier. Even cleans our pots and pans! Even the plumber that installed had nothing but good things to say!

I've had this dishwasher months. I'm not crazy about the capacity on the lower rack. My old washer fit a lot more large pasta bowls, which is what we use a lot. The worse things is that it doesn't dry the dishes, even if I turn on High Heat Wash AND Extra Dry. Overnight Dry doesn't dry at all, either. Dishes smell bad when I take them out, even if they've only been in the washer overnight. I do clean the filter at least weekly, and I do rinse my dishes before loading, so there can't be that much crud in the filter. There's barely anything visible in it when I clean it. The entire inside of the washer remains very wet even after Extra Dry cycle. I dry the door with a microfiber rag, but I'm not going to take out the rack and wipe the entire interior. Keeping the door open all day is not an option because that would be a hazard in the kitchen. I don't know if all dishwashers are like this now days, due to trying to make them energy efficient. My previous washer came for free off a neighbors lawn, during the pandemic, (when I couldn't buy a new one) and did a much better job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bough this a month ago to replace my 14 year old dishwasher and after much research I’m amazed at the cleaning options. Not only is it super quiet but I am impressed with the multiple options for cleaning. The heavy duty cleaning is remarkable as it cleaned everything off the baking pans.

This dishwasher really does an excellent job of cleaning. I really like how you can customize the racks. I can now load all my large mixing bowls and tall baking sheets. I also love how quiet it is. The first few times I used it, I had to check to see if it was actually running.

Still up in the air about this purchase. Way too many choices to wash your dishes than anyone will EVER use - silly amount actually. Don't see the advantage to a stainless steel tub over plastic. But, on the EXPRESS wash for 34 minutes it works very well. Why would anyone want to have their dishwasher run for 2 1/2 hours as some of the cycles do?? We are thrilled with the 34 minute cycle why wash any longer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this new LG LDFN4542S Dishwasher and Love it. The inside is all Stainless Steel and high quality. The installation was great and the unique rear height adjuster is great, one adjuster in the center front area adjusts the rear to be level without trying to reach around or under the unit to level it. Very Happy with this dishwasher and would recommend it to others. Some things you will continue to appreciate every day you use it and this is one.

I researched various companies & found that LG had the quality & design that worked for us. I absolutely love it. My dishes are very clean and I have been amazed at the clear glass finish on my glasses and also glass top pot covers. I am so happy & spoiled with my LG Dishwasher. Delighted that I chose the stainless steel interior and also the black stainless steel exterior. Beautiful!

We moved into a new house in July and found that the dishwasher was on its last leg. I rely a lot on Consumer Reports before making any appliance/electronic purchases and this LG model dishwasher was highly rated. Plus the home had an LG refrigerator which we were impressed with. The dishwasher was installed 08/12/22, so we've been using for 6 weeks now. Everything about it shouts quality including the stainless-steel bottom. I'm very pleased with 3-shelf design and adjustable 2nd shelf, the placement of tines and "stackability" of plates, bowls, platters etc, and the spacious silverware holder. The contents are consistently sparkling clean. I had seen some reviews that others were not happy with the level of drying but I've not had a problem. Yes, there is still some wetness on items with recessed areas where water can pool, but I would never expect such to be bone dry with any dishwasher. Note that I've followed the manufacturer's guide and manual to use a drying agent, plus usually select "high temp" and "extra dry" on the control panel. The manual also suggests running the sink water till it's hot before you begin a wash cycle which aids in drying. The "normal" cycle takes a little over 3 hours, but I typically run at night so it's a non-issue (haven't yet tried any other cycle options). I also saw comments about the bottom tray sometimes coming off the track but learned that loading back to front (logical, right?), plus simply placing my hands in the middle of the rack to push in (rather than leaning over from the sink and pushing from the side) pretty much solved that. Lastly, I saved on the cost by going with the black model rather than stainless steel finish (like the fridge). Design-wise it looks really great, though, not far from my black/SS oven (sorry, not good about attaching photos). All being said, I'd rate this purchase as a truly exceptional value!
