Had trouble getting it to dry dishes when we first got it. I called customer and thaey had me ddup the rinse levels. This fixed it. My sister in law had same problem so we told her how to fix it. Really cleans well and is very quiet. Glad we boought this brand

But now it is even more feature and function rich. From connection to the LG ThinQ app. To downloadable additional wash cycles. It is super useful and utilitarian!!!

We purchased the LDFN4542W a little over a month ago, and we could not be more pleased! Like most people, we wanted the best product, for the least cost, and we got it. Our research criteria was: product quality, price, performance, quiet and white front. LG nailed all five. Performance is stellar and is much quieter than we expected. There are others with more bells and whistles, that cost more, but if you want to wash dishes, the LDFN4542W is your machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dishwasher for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It does an awesome job. I really love the 3rd rack in it and the fact that you can put the silverware holder on the side or in the back to make more room available.

I brought my dishes into many stores to find a DW that fits tall things on the bottom rack, and this one seemed to have the most clearance, as well as a 3rd rack that doesn't fit much but silverware. I've only run it twice, but things seemed to come out very clean---even pans with some baked on grease. Only downside is that the bottom rack doesn't have enough tines to hold small casseroles that can tip over.

I bought this as part of my new kitchen ( I was building my home). We have been in our new home for about a month, and I run my dishwasher almost twice a day! I’m a pretty avid baker, and I love how this dishwasher can handle the mess. It does not streak or leave things messy. I love the setting options it offers as well. Overall my favorite dishwasher to date. I also chose all of my LG appliances in the black stainless and it is just perfection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this dishwasher and while it cleans well there are some bothersome issues. On/off is way too sensitive. When you close the door 8/10 times the machine turns on. Biggest complaint is the large (size one issue-too big and takes up too much space) of the silverware section but the biggest problem is that the handle for that comes out after wash with water on it..so you have to get in there to dry it off before pulling the bottom rack out. Poor conceptual engineering. If they had make it slightly domed, then there would not be a problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not what I was expecting. This dishwasher replaced a approx 15 year old dishwasher. It does not clean as well as the older one, but not terrible. There is no heating/drying element. Only air dry. I ran it before leaving for multiple days. Came home to mildew on the dishes. Normal wash cycle is 3 hours long!
