I am not impressed with this machine. The door feels flimsy. The idea that the steam now comes out the top of the machine, to cook the countertop and the cabinet is awful. I have had LG come out and look at the machine, and it is working within the parameters and working as intended/designed. I don't like the cutlery/silverware basket the old one's design was better and suited for my needs. The dispenser on my old machine had a place for Dish Detergent Booster, this one does not. I am not talking about the blue liquid, but the booster, I think it was marked prewash. The LED (assuming LED) "End" stays on till you open the door, others may like it I just see it as a waste of energy, I don't care it if is LED, so low on energy use. I view it as just another annoyance. This one also seems to be louder than my old machine. Looking back I wish I had just gotten the old LG fixed. I stayed brand loyal since the other machine did so well. I will definitely be comparing the next time I need to replace ANY major appliance. Just very disappointed. It does the job. The dishes come out clean, but I am not impressed with the design changes.

We've had this dishwasher about 6 weeks and are very happy with it. Easy to use electronic controls and operating options. Was a little concerned on how well it would dry dishes and plastics, but with the extra-dry option everything comes out nice and dry. We like the nite-dry setting for leaving dishes in overnight. I do wish the utensil tray handle was on the side of the tray, not in the middle blocking several baskets. I removed the handle for better access to the baskets. Installation was no problem, but I do have several comments/recommendations regarding the drain hose. First, the recess in the drain hose connector end that fits on a disposal is too shallow at about 3/4 inch. My old one was 1 1/4 inches. It would not take much, even with the hose clamp to have it pull off and flood the cabinet. Second, I'm not sure why there is a drain hose within a drain hose. It makes the whole hose assembly very rigid and hard to make the anti siphon loop and then a 90 to connect to the disposal. Third, and it applies to the thick somewhat rigid drain hose, I would rather see room behind the washer to let the hose come up and into the cabinet high on the sidewall. I followed the instructions and drilled a hole in the floor of my sink cabinet according to the template. It now occurs to me that if I ever had a water leak in that cabinet, water will flow down under the base/toe kick area and be very hard to clean up/dry. Cutting a hole in the bottom of a cabinet seems to be a very bad idea and I'm sorry I did it.

Being able to run half a load either top or bottom rack was a tremendous feature as well as adjustable bottom rack. The additional night dry was a feature I didn’t know was possible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I was happy with the performance of this dishwasher but so disappointed that every time I pull the bottom rack out to load dishes it would completely fall off track!! Causing more work then it was worth. I upgraded my LG so we’ll see if that solves problem.

I have had this dishwasher for a little ober 2 months. I love how quiet it is and the third rack. What I am very disappointed with is that is does not dry my dishes well at all. I typically have to use a dish towel to dry many of my dishes after removing them. That is a bit of a pain as tjat is a key reason for a dishwasher. Sharing this to make others aware. If this dried well, I would have given it 5 stars.

The dishwasher lasted just over 1 year before it started making a grinding noise when the pump runs. It barely cleans the dishes and often comes out with dishes still wet. If you're looking for a strong dishwasher that leaves dishes dry, keep looking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lift out silverware basket is stable on the counter for easy unloading. Top tray is perfect for large knives and kitchen accessories. Unit it super quiet when running and alarm is very pleasant sounding.

I am very pleased with this dishwasher but in the future I wouldn't buy one where the controls are on the front of unit. Because it is big, the dishwaser isn't flush with the cabinets but doesn't go pass the countertop. I keep hitting the start button on the it. The touch is way to sensitive in my opinion and should be like my stack washer and dryer where I have to hold the button for a few seconds before anything happens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our new LG Dishwasher installed about a month ago, and we are very pleased with how clean and dry the dishes are after the cycle. We really like the front controls. You can hardly see them against the black stainless, when not in use. We are very happy with our purchase.

It's been just over a month and we love it. Big enough to wash everything we need, very quiet, has always cleaned everything. I especially live the silverware tray with the top holes holding the silverware and still be able to put smaller items inside it so they don't blow around. The middle rack is adjustable whi h helps for taller dishes. So glad to have found it!
