Dishwasher is good. Quiet. But, back foot for leveling was broken and would not descend had to cut a foot at the right level to install it because we already removed the old dishwasher, got rid of the outer box and after the issue with LG changing the delivery dat, wee didn't want to risk sending it back or waiting for service.

After using it for several weeks, I can say that it performs beautifully and is quiet in its operation. I am very satisfied with this appliance and would recommend it to anyone seeking to purchase a dishwasher.

I bought this dishwasher as part of package during a sale event (with a LG fridge, which we love). It replaced a 30-year-old Amana. It does not perform as well as my old dishwasher - dishes come out damp (even when using a rinse aid), the tub remains wet when I load it. It needs to be cracked open for a day to dry out the tub and dishes. Also, it takes over 2 hours to run a cycle. My old Amana was under an hour and the dishes always came out dry. I also do not like the tone of the warning chimes - it is too high pitched to hear, for those of us with some hearing loss. The front buttons are in the way when I'm using the counter and I turn on the power frequently. Right now, even though it had minor blemishes and looked older, I wish we still had our 30 year old dishwasher. It performed better than the new LG.

If I had it to do over, I would have bought the controls on the top of the door. we are constantly inadvertently hitting something on the front when shutting the door. not yet used to that or having the silverware rack taking so much room. My last one had one I could put on the door and it was much better space.

It is getting great use from visiting family members (w/lots of kids) and our special guests. Efficiency, excellent cleaning power, ease of use, low sound and intuitive loading were very important to me --in addition to a stainless steel tub. We've enjoyed other LG products in our main house, and I am confident we'll get years of rave reviews from the family and friends who visit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher worked fairly well for about six months. It doesn't always get things super clean but I know this is common for high efficiency appliances. I had to use a citric acid washing additive to actually get them clean. A few weeks ago it started leaking out of the bottom. Quite a bit of water actually which ruined the floor in front of it. We releveled it, made sure the seals were working, the connections were tight, and there was no build up of food or dishwashing powder anywhere. Fingers crossed it seems to be working again, but only on the "normal" setting.

I have used my dishwasher twice, since it was delivered and I have been completely satisfied with the way it cleans the dishes. I had 14 family members here for Easter Dinner and I was able to put the dishes and silverware into the dishwasher and everything was completely clean, when I unloaded the dishwasher. I paid in full for this dishwasher at a local store.

The LG dishwasher is different from most. It seems to be constructed as well as the others. But its functionality is not as good as the others. First of all, it does not dry the dishes completely. Even when selecting the “Extra Dry” option. There is not a heating element for drying the dishes. I am very displeased with their hybrid drying system. The LG food disposer is awkward at best. I have had may dishwashers over the years. This one is not up that standards of the others. I would not recommend this dishwasher. I would definitely encourage people not to buy this unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this new LG LDFN4542S Dishwasher and Love it. The inside is all Stainless Steel and high quality. The installation was great and the unique rear height adjuster is great, one adjuster in the center front area adjusts the rear to be level without trying to reach around or under the unit to level it. Very Happy with this dishwasher and would recommend it to others. Some things you will continue to appreciate every day you use it and this is one.

We bought our LG dishwasher a couple of months ago. It runs very quietly and works very well to clean our dishes. It holds a lot of dishes and I love the option to fold down prongs to hold large pots and pans. The third rack to hold utensils frees up space on lower racks. Great function
