My favorite is the auto setting which can tell just how long to run by the amount of dishes in it. They come out sparkling clean every time!! And it is so quiet that I had to check it several times because I didn’t think it was running! This is the best dishwasher I’ve ever had! It doesn’t disappoint!

I have been using it for several weeks and am really happy with it! It cleans well and is soooo quiet!!

Our recent purchase of this unit was initiated by a undetected door seal leak in the old unit that caused a large spread of black mold underneath our laminate flooring. The huge remediation project led me to search for a high quality sturdy dishwasher. That search culminated in our new LG dishwasher. Sitting side by side while I prepped the area for installation, tile instead of laminate, I could see the build quality was superior and the door seal mounting and materials much more robust. The installation instructions were thorough, detailed and complete. The LG water connection much easier to thread on and gave me confidence it is never going to leak, while the previous unit was more like a garden hose connection that I was not confident about and could easily cross thread. It’s been about a month since I installed it and no leakage or complaints. The wife likes all the new shelving configurations and how quite it is. It matches our LG refrigerator now in its 3rd quarter of operation and we are thrilled with that also. Warranty Registration of the dishwasher was intuitive and fairly painless taking all of 5 minutes online. As a senior citizen this dishwasher is a purchase I expect to last way past the time when I can no longer get down on the floor and do these type of projects. My wife is in charge of operation and pushing all the right buttons and she reports how that is easy to learn to get superior results. We are delighted.

The dishes come out clean as a whistle and it's so quiet I actually have to put my ear to it to see if it's actually running. Also love the top tray and how you can adjust the size of the second rack... Totally recommend this dishwasher.

I had hoped for a little better performance, and I really dislike the bottom tray arrangement. It doesn't work well for me as I often have wasted space. I tend to have small bowls, plates, etc., and this seems more designed for large bowls and pans. I wash these typically by hand.

Have also began to notice spot rust on the inside of the tub after only a month. Other than those two things this washer cleans exceptionally well, and I barely notice it running. Many useful features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this LG dishwasher to replace one that had lasted for 17 years. We wanted white to match everything else in our kitchen and LG was one of the few companies that offered while without charging extra for that. A selling point was the decibel level. We never thought of our old dishwasher as loud until we ran the LG. You can barely hear it running even when standing right next to it. We don't use the 3rd upper rack - it simply does not appeal to us. And we use the silverware holders from our old dishwasher because we didn't like the one long holder that was meant to be placed at the back of the dishwasher. There is ample room without that for a week's worth of our dishes since there are only 2 of us at home. Generally, everything comes clean but one plastic container with chopped cilantro in it did not and I had to hand wash it to get the cilantro leaf pieces off the side of the container. I am also concerned that the inside of the door stays wet even days after the dishwasher has been run and I am concerned what the long term effect of that will be. Nevertheless, we are generally very pleased with our new LG dishwasher and I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dishwasher for a month now and we love it, it’s incredibly quiet! The only thing that makes a noise is the drain. My wife loves the adjustable top rack (it was one of the selling points for her) it’s very smooth and has very accessible handles to help with the adjustment. Other models we looked at were much more difficult to maneuver. The black stainless steel looks amazing in our kitchen and is perfect since we have animals that brush up against it and push off of it (cats on the counter) leaving no hair or prints. Love the stainless steel inside since it helps with odor and stains. I’m a journeyman plumber and installed the unit myself and have not had any problems with leaks or draining.

I bought this dishwasher as part of package during a sale event (with a LG fridge, which we love). It replaced a 30-year-old Amana. It does not perform as well as my old dishwasher - dishes come out damp (even when using a rinse aid), the tub remains wet when I load it. It needs to be cracked open for a day to dry out the tub and dishes. Also, it takes over 2 hours to run a cycle. My old Amana was under an hour and the dishes always came out dry. I also do not like the tone of the warning chimes - it is too high pitched to hear, for those of us with some hearing loss. The front buttons are in the way when I'm using the counter and I turn on the power frequently. Right now, even though it had minor blemishes and looked older, I wish we still had our 30 year old dishwasher. It performed better than the new LG.
