It goes on dry and keeps you protected all day. It’s a white solid so it can get on clothes but it can be washed out so it’s no biggie. My husband and son both use the Fiji and love it. Definitely one to keep on rotation!

I think the scent could be unisex because it just smells clean without being overpowering. The only thing is that it is not aluminum free which really depends on your preference when it comes to deodorants.
