Before the issue: Coffee was just okay. There was nothing great - Beans seemed less oily and more dry. Nothing impressionable with any flavor notes. On the fourth morning of using these beans, the $$$ burr grinder made a noise we'd never heard before. We bolted to right back to the counter and hit the stop button. I proceeded to lock and remove the hopper. I used the supplied grinder brush to clear and located a bean that wouldn't move. Problem here, it wasn't a bean -- It was a chunk of rock or mineral. The only way I could removed the jammed nugget and free the burr cone was with needle nose pliers. It took two attempts to remove it as doing so broke the nugget into two pieces. Next, I performed a complete inspection and cleaning of the burr grinder and reassembled it. This morning, I measured out my 40grams of beans and dumped them onto a dinner plate where I could inspect the next batch. My wife discovered yet another piece of rock and or mineral. We are done with these beans as they pose a high risk of damage to our pricey burr grinder. Also noting, in the six years we started grinding beans of various brands/origins, this is the first time we have had an issue with rocks or minerals that make their way to the consumer. One is one, two is a problem. I have photos that meet upload requirements of the objects found to upload, however, the upload functionality on Sam's Club's website states, "There was an error uploading your file. Try again."

Delicious coffee. I mixed it about 75% of the Denver roast with the French vanilla 25% and makes a great mellow blend.

I am very sceptical in trying new coffee because you never know what type of flavor you are getting this one is not to strong or mild almost the perfect medium taste. The beans grind very even and the smell is wonderful

Good smooth taste. Not bitter . Very fresh tasting. Tasty no after taste. Smelled great and tasted even better. Would buy again and serve to my guest. I even used in my single cup maker and it tasted good there too

Tasted burnt!

been in the specialty coffee eta for several years now. bean ptices have gone up dramtically. being humble ive cut back on that luxury and went towrds getting latger package beans from lesser known companies. gave this a shot as it was listed as light roast and from colorado. boy i regret it. too oilly to be considered like. definetely a minimum a medium roast depending on your experience. absolutely no flavor other than burnt diner coffee. not even the slighest hint of citrus fruits, acidity, baker notes, chocalate, florals, berries. Just pure pure pure ash. Why are these places all like this. returning for a refund
