Works great - After I fixed it.

Ordered in a rush when heavy snow was predicted. Got it the next day and plugged it in for a test run. The motor quit as soon as it hit the snow, then ran for another few seconds when I flipped it over. Since there was no time to order a replacement, my boyfriend took it apart to see if it could be fixed. He found one of the motor wires hadn't been properly crimped in the connector and had come loose. He replaced the connector and put it back together, now it runs great. Once fixed, it moved a lot of snow very quickly and is easy to use without a lot of effort.

Perfect for what I need!

I bought this for my sidewalk and deck. Neither is accessible to my snowblower. I received it today. It took 5 minutes to put together. I went out and tried it on my deck. There's 1 to 2 feet of snow on the deck covered with about 1-2 inches of ice. It worked as expected. Not perfect, but better than shoveling tons of ice. I worked for 30 minutes and have more to do, but I'm happy getting as much weight off the deck as I did. had a serious cervical surgery in June. My husband passed suddenly in December and would be furious to know I was shoveling. This relieves some of the guilt! So, works great for clearing snow. You definitely have to move it around to break through ice, think chainsaw maneuvers. It throws one way, straight ahead. It's tricky to plscrew the handles together because of the fat, rigid cord down the center of the pipes. They need a better design for that: you have to squeeze a bolt through the holes and beside the cord. Otherwise, I might even buy one for my aunt at this price. *I have before and after pictures, it's not providing an option to add them now.

Just What We Needed

We just moved to North Dakota from Texas so we were definitely not used to this much snow. We bought this to clear the snow from the house to the mailbox and walking paths for our dogs when the go out and it worked perfect. On some of the hight snow drifts you have to start from the top down, but it just plowed right through it with ease. Highly recommend!

Very helpful with lots of snow!

I don't have a big driveway, so this was a perfect option short of getting a full snow blower. It was very useful and helped move lots of snow. You do have to push through it, and some wheels or a way to roll it would be helpful, but was still much easier and faster than plain shoveling.

Great Snowblower!

Satisfying to work with equipment that does what it is meant to. Though corded equipment can be cumbersome, there’s no better way to get the appropriate power to get the job done without. Get yourself some decent extension cords and let the snowblower do its job. Sometimes it calls for some more heavy duty equipment, other times it calls for this. Great job Westinghouse!

My first snowblower

I just tried out my new snowblower from Westinghouse today unfortunately, I have some thick ice up under the snow so I was waiting on it to melt a little bit to try it out. I began to just use it just on the surface of the snow, but wasn’t able to get down to the concrete but overall, the product is pretty decent which it was just a little bit more powerful but I would recommend it and use it directly after the snow has ended.

Great for old people!!!

As an older retired person, I found that shoveling snow was a thing of the past. I was looking for something to basically do the heavy lifting for me and was impressed with the snow shovel. What a back saver!!! Went together like a dream, and the power impressed me. I zoomed up and down the driveway in no time. A really good product!!!

Great Electric Shovel for Stairs small places

I bought a WSnow11SD last week. Works great on steps and small patio spaces. Assembly was easy. I like the locking handle knobs and light for night shoveling. Light weight and easy to operate. Westinghouse should state in BOLD Type in the Manual, page 2, Product Registration: "NOTE: Serial Number may be located on the Shipping Box. Use this S/N that starts with 11S to register your product or call..."

Great snow blower light, efficient and works well

I bought this to clear the snow off the outside stairs and patio. The snow blower we have is very heavy and we can't safely lift to to these areas. The Westinghouse snowblower is very light, easy to use and plowed almost 14 inches of snow off the deck and patio with ease. Money well spent in my opinion and we now have a safe way of removing snow from the stairs, deck and patio.

Why didn't I get this sooner

This is pretty great, it really throws the snow the advertised 20ft or so, just make sure to check which direction the wind is blowing so it doesn't blow back into your face. It's small, light, and barely takes up more room in the garage than a normal shovel. Being corded means infinite run time at 100% strength. It even was able to handle some small twigs and the ice packed snow at the end of the driveway.
