Purchased this a little over a month ago to create a backyard poolside bar. Quick delivery, easy assembly, beautiful finished product! We did add the horizontal cedar slats across the back to define the space and have a place to hang items to give the space character. Love!

What's not to like? Little bit of assembly required with your son and buddies.. What are the rewards? Quality time outdoors spent with family and friends for Years to come! Quality of product? I couldn't have made one any better myself.. Any Problems? Not a single complaint What a beautiful addition to my backyard and will be purchasing more from this company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’re so incredibly fortunate to have found the Saxony XL grill gazebo from Backyard Discovery. The finished product is simply stellar. We love the cedar and metal stylings and the Saxony XL is ample enough to accommodate our Kamado Joe smoker plus our Napoleon Phantom grill. We opted for the professional installation from Backyard Discovery, which was totally awesome. Within a few hours we were able to enjoy this new addition to our home’s entertainment area. We added shatterproof Edison bulbs to the gazebo adding a fun party vibe. Truly, we could not be more pleased. Well done Backyard Discovery. This is an A+ for us.

The Arcadia gazebo is awesome! It was the perfect size for our needs. It ended up being a lot of work but we got it done in a weekend. There were a few issues I had and they are as follows: 1) I wish we didn’t have to spend so much time water sealing the wood. That was huge time suck. 2) I wish Backyard Discovery would offer some gazebos with a back wall. I ended up having to buy some tongue and groove planks and tack them up on the back end to really give us adequate shade and privacy the whole day long. 3) It was almost impossible to do the job with just two people. There were two times, when we were attaching the two side panels to the back panel when I needed to get my wife to help us because two people have to hold the panels together while one guy screws them together. All in all it looks great and the value was there. Now we just have to wait and see if it holds up over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to be able to grill all year under cover. I live in far northern New York and needed something to keep the snow off of me and the grill. Has good snow load, was straight forward to assemble and looks good with our Cordova gazebo.

This is a quality product with all included hardware. I deviated from some chronological assembly steps for a few reasons. 1. I bolted the four posts to the concrete before attaching the roof because I did not want a gust of wind to blow it over. 2. I assembled the roof truss framing and installed it before adding sheetmetal. It was easier to lift into place and secure first. I then installed the sheetmetal. The directions called for the perimeter roof trim to be placed 360° on top of the sheetmetal ribs. The problem is that the design does not take into consideration the need for a rear drip edge. I did not want water to flow under the trim and down the wood. I, therefore, placed the tear trim under the ribs. Water will now be directed 1/2 inch away from the wood and will then drop straight down. It will also alleviate pine needles from getting trapped under the trim.

Purchased this unit on a Saturday morning, by Sunday afternoon I had been notified it was already in transit, Monday morning I was notified it was in town, and by Wednesday afternoon it was in my driveway. Never got notified it was being delivered, it just showed up. I was able to assemble and get it completed in 20 hrs. including staining and protecting the woodwork, I would highly recommend sorting, inventorying, staining and waterproofing before you start assembly, assembly was not difficult, however it requires you to VERY CLOSELY look and follow the instructions or you're going to screw up. The quality of the wood was very good, all the holes and hardware lined up and went smooth, you're going to need at least 3 people to stand it up (will need them for a couple hours). My only complaints are the crappy anchors they send for the concrete are terrible (I opted to get some real red head concrete anchors instead) and the metal roofing doesn't extend past the drip edge far enough to work very well (1/4" as per instructions). I already have a spot developing on one of the main posts where the wood split a little due to an imperfection in the grain and is starting to swell up some after a good rain, it was stained and water sealed with 2 coats prior, we will see how it goes and maybe need to warranty that post down the road if it continues to get worse. I am likely to purchase another one to build an outdoor kitchen under if this proves to hold up well

We bought this item based on a recommendation from a friend. They have a larger size, however, this is the perfect addition to our backyard. We love the architectural design, ease of assembly, sturdiness, and believe it is a great value for the money. We can enjoy a quiet evening as a couple, have friends over for drinks, and hang out with our growing family. The pitched roof and power port are awesome features. We would definitely recommend this product.
