Just bought yesterday, just used most of today (had been without a vacuum for almost a week while trying to find a good machine). Excellent machine. Four great attachments. Does a wonderful job. Has a mechanical suction decrease/increase switch, so you can really clean everything...rugs, carpet, bare floors, couches, blinds. Definitely a keeper, especially at this price.

This machine is fine if you are only picking up light dirt! the power nozzle brush has no adjustment for my thick plush carpeting, it slows down then shuts off, and won't turn back on till you shut off the machine and unplug it from the wall. The dirt bin has limited capacity and the filters need to be cleaned each time you use the vacuum or if not it won't pick up and beats the dirt down into the carpeting. Although Shark Spends over 1/2 Billion dollars a year on advertising it lacks any type of quality, and parts are hard to get. This is an example of What advertising will do for a subpar quality vacuum, it looks great on TV but misses the mark for REAL WORLD application.

I buy a new vacuum every year. Between 3 kids and 2 dogs our carpet has to be vacuumed everyday. Most vacuums can't keep up with us but his vacuum is crazy good! The suction on this unit is incredible. I have never had a vacuum with this much power. If you are in the market, do yourself a favor and buy a Shark!

The suction is not bad. It even cleaned my dirty blinds in a cinch but it is so top heavy that every time you pull on the long hose the vacuum falls over. Also, the base with the brush is too narrow. It would stand better if it was wider. Bad design, suction and attachment tools are not bad but I need to be able to vacuum without having the vacuum falling over every time. Taking it back tomorrow.

The Shark is very lightweight but is a little on the "flimsy" side. It has an tremendous amount of suction which is a major plus. Couldn't believe what is got out of my carpet. I was using a 25 year old Electrolux which I thought was doing a good job but evidently not.

I have only cleaned 3 times with this vac, but I have zero negative things to say! The cord is long, the suction great, the maneuverability great, the emptying of the canister great! I actually like the small head size because it fits in tight spaces. More use will really be needed to get a true handle on this vacuum.

I had been researching vacuums for a few days. I wanted to buy a Shark because they have a good long warranty and quality products. I found this while shopping at Sam's Club and it had a $30 instant discount! I love that it's not very loud like most vacuums and has great suction! I only have tile floors and use the vacuum instead of a broom or dust mop. I used it on my rugs and it is pretty powerful....I couldn't do it by myself because it wouldn't move. The only bad thing I found about this model is the weight....It weighs about 30 lbs. It moves easily on the floor but lifting is tough if you have any kind of back issues.

I am replacing a DC33 with this vacuum cleaner, the clutch in the Dyson costs 80 dollars, and that's you replacing it yourself. After doing a little research I found this little bad boy. We have a cat and small dog and two young grandkids that really can make a mess! Beware Dyson for half the price and quality of the shark it's going to give you a run for your money! I am not going to bash Dyson but mine was 3 years old and not covered under warranty as they said it was normal wear.

My wife wanted a new vacuum for Christmas and I bought her this Shark. It is amazing she vacuumed with the Bissell that we were replacing and then vacuumed with the Shark, we were amazed at home much dirt and cat hair our old vacuum missed and the Shark picked up. It is lightweight, powerful and the 30 foot cord, extra long hose and super large capacity dust cup make this vacuum awesome. My wife is so happy with it and so am I. Cant find a better vacuum, and the price was an added bonus!

We did read quite a few reviews, and wasn't sure if it would really better than the current cleaner we had (Hoover bagless, 10+ yrs). But was pleasantly surprised on the amount of dirt the cleaner picked up (after using our regular cleaner). So far satisfied with this product.
