Latch breaks, container is useless

I’ve had 4 of these containers- the glass bottom is amazing, but the latch on the top always breaks within a few weeks, no matter how careful you are. $80 down the drain. Save your money and purchase something else.

Not durable

Great product until it’s not. The lid/clip & locking mechanism is not very sturdy. This is the second container that I have had the same issue with. And while replacement parts are offered neither a replacement clip/tab or the entire lid are not offered for sale separately. A lot of waste to have to dispose of and replace the entire lunch box for a little part that is poorly designed.

LID WILL NOT LAST - NEEDS NEW DESIGN

I've had 2 of these and the lid clasp broke exactly the same on both of them. They didn't last long at all either. I didn't use them all that often and took care of them as instructed. Poor design. They need to go back to the drawing board and figure this out. Other than the breaking lid issue, it's a great product.

Major design flaw on otherwise great concept.

Wonderful concept, but has a huge design flaw. The lid clasp is terrible and first one broke on second use. The clasp just hinges on plastic nubs which pop out super easily if you aren't extremely careful to be aligned to the mm. I have 4 and all 4 lids have broken clasps, only one of which I can still salvage to use.

Container is great but lid is terrible

I’ve gone through three of these because the lid clips keep breaking. Bentgo was gracious to replace my first one and let me know I should be handwashing the lid. Well, that didn’t matter because even just handwashing the lid clips broke again. I wish they would re-engineer the lid! And sell replacement parts.

The lids break easiily

We bought 2 of these containers a few months ago. They have been really convenient and great for my kids lunches. They are versatile and can be used for many meals, other than salad. I'm really disappointed because the clasps on the lid broke, and once this happens the containers become totally unusable.
