We bought this gazebo a few months ago and had it assembled. We are very happy with it and have received a lot of compliments. It is sturdy and looks great. We stained it with a transparent stain and wiring for a ceiling fan and lights. We spend a lot of time on the patio now and love our new setup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this over the summer, took us a while to put it together since there was a lot of pieces and we would work on it after work. But after we finally got it all together, it was perfect ! We get so many compliments on it !

Absolutely love my gazebo now that it is together. Assembly however was extremely challenging. There is probably 100 pcs of cedar boards and 500 plus screws and other parts. The markings on the boards are small and faint on the ends of the board. It took me two hours of unboxing and relabeling each board with painters tape and a permanent marker. This up front work saved many many hours searching for parts. It took quite a bit longer than the suggested 3 people/10 hours. You need at least 3 strong people for the roof assembly but the more the better. The end result however is an excellent quality gazebo that I believe will last a very long time. This is much nicer than the ones you typically see in the big box stores. My husband did say he would hire out assembly if there was a next time, lol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this Gazebo to cover my hot tub. The Gazebo looks great and I have received several compliments on it. The wife loves bot the look and the additional hot tub use with rain and cold (surrounded with curtains in cold weather). Instructions were fairly clear and it was more or less easy to put together with only a little bit of confusion or potential misalignment of pieces. The only assistance I required was lifting of the roof panels in place, with the 14' sections requiring 3 people. The only real problem I had was that a few cement anchors snapped while attaching to the concrete columns even with a impact driver....bought a new set from Lowes that were a little thicker to properly secure. I did have to slightly modify by cutting about a foot from 2 pillars as the area is on a slight hill. My neighbors that helped with the roof panels, were pretty impressed by the quality of the gazebo. They could see how sturdy the gazebo was, how the pieces were fit together close up, the weight of the roof, etc. basically the things you don't see from far off looking in someone else's back yard. I do not normally submit reviews, but there was a chance to win...so that is why incentivized review is marked, but everything I am saying is true, I am just lazy :) This is a great product and I am very happy to have purchased.

Last year I saw a display of the Gazebo 14 x 10 "Cordova" in a store and wanted one. I was told they were sold out so I tried online direct to Backyard Discovery. I was told that they were back ordered so I put my name on a list and was thrilled when I was called and told it would ship in about 3 weeks. My husband and I decided to wait on having the gazebo assembled because after taking down our 16 year old pergola we thought it deserved a new patio to stand on. We thought at first it would be a simple replacement project but "no" we decided to get a contractor out to re do the patio and stone surface and the landscaping which we plan on finishing this Spring. After the patio was installed in August we had a company come out and put the gazebo together. It was a company that was referred by Backyard Discovery for our area.They did a fantastic job, we were so pleased. The gazebo went through the winter months with no issues, no movement so now we are trying to get ready to plant some new shrubs and flowers this Spring season. We love our new patio with our Cordova gazebo. Sorry my picture doesn't have the flowers and landscaping finished but we highly recommend your product.

Love the look of this gazebo. Does take some time to put together but well worth the work. Everything matched up perfectly. We had a couple parts missing out of the boxes. Luckily was some of the last pieces needed. Called customer service and they jumped on it quickly. That was extremely appreciated!!

We bought this gazebo last summer and we absolutely love it! It’s great quality, features and style are amazing! We paid for the professional install and are very glad we did! The installers were professional and very customer friendly! And the gazebo weathered our winter weather very well! We’re considering getting the matching bar-b-que gazebo!

Backyard Discovery 14’ x 10’ Cordova Gazebo Review This is a well-designed and organized kit for simple construction with minimal experience. It is packaged and labeled well. The instructions are clear except for a couple of places I’ll note below. Delivery: The order arrived in Houston about a week before the estimated delivery date but was not delivered to us until a week after the estimated delivery date. The packages were all in good condition. They are heavy to move around. Assistance & Assembly Time: I was able to do the assembly completely by myself except for two times I needed a few assistants for about ½ hour each time. [Step 7 (Attach 14-ft beams to posts with 10-ft beams attached), Step 12 (Installing roof support), and Step 30-35 (Attach roof panels).] It is a lot of bending over, moving parts, and using a drill to install connectors. I worked on it for about 5 days for about 4 hours each day. Tools: It would help if the Screw Setter H100764 was magnetic to hold screws while lining up with the holes. A hammer drill and 3/16” hammer drill bit are needed for installation on a concrete slab. I used firring strips as spacers between roof panels during construction so they could lay on top of each other during assembly. Positioning: Layout and mark final post positions. We put the gazebo next to our house with a 6” gap between the house gutter and the gazebo roof edge. This was barely enough to pass the roof section up between the gap and took some extra hands to support this during installation. It also made installing the Corner Ridge Cap in Step 40 difficult as this is intended to slide onto Ridge Cap Channel from the bottom. We used pliers to bend open the Corner Ridge Cap on one side to allow this to clip over the Ridge Cap Channel and then bend back in place as best as possible before sliding into position. Assembly Notes: Recommend doing Step 9-11 before Step 7-8 so assistants can help with Step 7 and Step 12 at the same time. I did all roof panel framing before attaching sheeting. (Step 14-18 twice, Step 22-26 twice, then Step 19-21 twice and Step 27-29 twice.) IMPORTANT NOTES: Step 20 & 28 Ridge Cap Channel Assembly – Ensure the bottom end of the channel is above the bottom roof joist to allow space for installation of the Edge Trim Corner Splice in Step 38. THIS IS NOT MENTOINED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. Step 38 Edge Trim Corner Splice Assembly – Ensure Edge Trim Corner Splice is UNDER the Ridge Cap Channel. THIS IS NOT CLEAR IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. This is needed to allow installation of the Corner Ridge Cap in Step 40.

This gazebo is built like a tank. Took about 12 hours to install, but definitely worth the effort. We now have a focal point in our backyard that everyone is asking about, and could not be more excited to use it all Summer! A bit bummed it is not pre-sealed but other than that no complaints.

Honestly, wasn't sure I can put something like this together? Pretty much by myself. Well...? 1st page said for you to complete this. 2nd page said to complete this? After a couple days, the Coronado was up and looks great! Not hard at all... Very pleased with this purchase!!!
