Awwwh refreshing

I don't know what happened to this pack of Diet Coke. Granted, it's been awhile since I've had a Diet Coke (Dr Pepper Zero fan here). My usual soda has increased in price and some of Coke's products were on sale, so I bought a package of Coke Zero and one of Diet Coke. I tried the Coke Zero first and found it rather unpleasant tasting. A few days later, I opted to try the Diet Coke. When I broke the seal of the cap, there was no pshsh sound. As I poured it over a cup of ice, there was no fizz. A sip revealed no cola flavor. I could detect only the artificial sweetener. I'm not going to try any more coke products and I'm wondering if these were on sale for a reason.

Flat and Taste Only of Bitter Sweetener

I don't usually like diet drinks because of their aftertaste, but I like this. I need cola products to help with digestion, they help me feel better, but I don't want the calories. Diet Coke is an enjoyable cold and refreshing drink that works well for me and I like the taste. The price could be better, but it's comparable to other products.
