Swing set itself is great! Great quality and bang for your buck! Purchased for our 2 year old and she absolutely loves it! This set does come in a wooden crate and requires a truck & trailer for pick up. Customer service on the other hand, at our local Plattsburgh NY location is 0/5 stars. We got the run around trying to get our hands on this set. My husband and myself called and stopped into the store several times and were told once they had some in stock that they would put our name on one as long as we called. Once I saw they were in stock on the app, I called to have my name put on one. At that time I was told that they do not hold inventory. Okay, not what we were told, so then I also asked how big the crate was that it comes in to ensure our truck/trailer was large enough. I received attitude and was told they don’t have access to that information, now you’re telling me I am the only one who questioned this?! So at that time I decided to wait until I could schedule a pick up hoping they still had some in stock, luckily I was successful. My husband calls before we pick up and is told to park in the back and to call, they will send someone around to load it. Upon arrival, I call and am told that I either have to park in a pickup spot to notify our arrival, which our store has a very small/limited maneuver space for a truck & trailer, and then drive around back or walk around to the front of the store and let the pick up counter know we are out back. I opted to walk around, noting that the customer service desk had no line, no waiting but a lady on her cell phone whom was again rude when speaking to me as we arrived out back on the phone. Customer service couldn’t have walked over to the pickup station to advise if our arrival?! All went well with the pick up station employees and the loaders of the set, thankfully!

As you can probably guess putting it together is a big project. Took me about 10.5hours solo and I am extremely handy. Your average person is going to take 12-15hrs realistically to build. Would be quicker with two people. You need to reference the manual 5% of the time and the YouTube video 95% of the time. In my case the day it delivered it was pouring rain and the instructions got soaked and we’re not useable. Fortunately there is a QR code on the front that takes you to their YouTube video which is pretty helpful.(or you can just search for it on YouTube) Also, a PDF copy of the instructions can be found on the lifetime website for this set which is how I pulled it up on my phone. Pretty much just used it when laying out the poles to figure out what poles go where. They don’t really tell you in the video on that step and it’s more clear to read it yourself. One thing that irritated me was there are multiple boxes that come in the crate and they don’t tell you what order to open them and what parts are in each that you need first etc… so I had to open every single box and lay out every single part to find the pieces you need first. As others have mentioned, the slide is a total pain and maybe the worst part overall. Hundreds of bolts. And that’s the first thing you must build. It becomes irritating fast. The slide alone took 2.5hrs. I also didn’t like how you have to drill your own holes in so many of the parts… that’s clearly a cost savings move by them so they can just pull them out of the plastic mold and throw in a box. It adds a lot of time to the build to drill a ton of holes in nearly every plastic piece. This is unprofessional in my opinion, it should really come pre-drilled. Another gripe, the plastic wall panels attach on the inside edges of the pipes, which does hide the hardware and give a cleaner look, but again adds a ton of time to the build because it’s so difficult to fasten this way. If they just attached to the inside or outside face of the pipes, (like the top upper panels did) it would shave hours off the build time. Fiddling with those takes time! Overall it’s a good price for what it is. Kids love it. My hints for you… be extremely careful which bolts go where. Many are identical but ever so slightly different lengths… which can cause you a lot of rework time. Overall the video on YouTube is very well done. Plan on using that as your main source to build this. One feature that is odd is the “staircase” on the side. It’s hardly a staircase, each step is like 2’ high! Kids have to climb and pull themselves up each step, not walk up it like steps. Just something to be aware of. Just have to kinda watch when young ones are coming down them… it’s a big step down!

I'm extremely disappointed with this purchase due to ongoing delivery failures. The swing set was originally scheduled for delivery last Monday, but on that day the shipment was mishandled and sent from Pennsylvania to Virginia instead of New Jersey. After that mistake, I was told it would arrive the next day (Tuesday), but it did not. Then it was rescheduled for Friday, but it was delayed again due to weather. I was then assured it would arrive Saturday, yet once again it did not show up. As of now, it still has not been delivered. This swing set was purchased as a Christmas present, and with Christmas just two days away, this has completely ruined the purpose of the gift. The repeated delays, incorrect routing, and lack of reliable communication are unacceptable for a large and expensive item. I expected far better service and logistics. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to order again.

Very sturdy and well built. I will say you should build out the slide before hand to save yourself (and your fingers) a ton of hardship and time. It can be built independently days or weeks before hand so the day of the build it will just be done and put on. Instructions were great until step 8 with the plastic panels. Weird pictures and angles of how its all supposed to go together and the plastic was just terrible to work with. If it didnt looks so nice I would definitely subtract a star but since it looks amazing I will just accept it. I added some fake grass so I dont hate life every time I mow around it. I was definitely hesitant to buy cheap looking stuff but it didnt turn out too bad.

We don't have this set fully built quite yet but the bolts on the slide area are cracked and not holding up. We had a set that was less than half the price that the slide is holding up great but we wanted a new one because our kids are 5 and 7 now and wanted something a bit bigger. Contacted the manufacturer to have replacements sent and they are out of stock. This is a very expensive set to have this happening even prior to having it built.

While there is a "lot" of assembly required, the instructions and organization of the parts and hardware is 1st rate. The instructions are easy to understand and cover everything. The parts and hardware are well marked to correlate with the instructions. There were even a bag of extra hardware (bolts, washers and nuts) of all the various sizes which came in handy when one of the bolts was apparently stripped and broke off when tightened - found the replacement in the "extras" bag. Everything appeared to be well thought out.

Well made, good instructions and YouTube videos for every section to assemble it.
