I'm extremely disappointed with this purchase due to ongoing delivery failures. The swing set was originally scheduled for delivery last Monday, but on that day the shipment was mishandled and sent from Pennsylvania to Virginia instead of New Jersey. After that mistake, I was told it would arrive the next day (Tuesday), but it did not. Then it was rescheduled for Friday, but it was delayed again due to weather. I was then assured it would arrive Saturday, yet once again it did not show up. As of now, it still has not been delivered. This swing set was purchased as a Christmas present, and with Christmas just two days away, this has completely ruined the purpose of the gift. The repeated delays, incorrect routing, and lack of reliable communication are unacceptable for a large and expensive item. I expected far better service and logistics. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to order again.

The playset is very nice, but we paid hundreds of dollars just to have it shipped. It came wirt missing pieces and hardware. The missing support bar for the slide is back ordered and sams club would only offer a refund and return. They refused to order the replacement piece for me. They couldnt even offer an exchange because at the time the playsets were sold out. I finally got through to lifetime products and they were not any help either. I finally was able to get the back ordered part ordered with a 2-3 week wait. It has been 4 weeks and still no part. I would not order anything like this again from sams club or lifetime products.

First and foremost the playground is worth the price. Its unique for residential use and sturdy for all weathers. When it comes to assembly it does require at least two people, lots of patience and a hand drill. It does take several hours maybe even days depending on how much time your able to invest setting it up. We strongly recommend following the lifetime set up video and referencing the manual as well. Once set up its worth the time and investment. Beautiful playground!

As you can probably guess putting it together is a big project. Took me about 10.5hours solo and I am extremely handy. Your average person is going to take 12-15hrs realistically to build. Would be quicker with two people. You need to reference the manual 5% of the time and the YouTube video 95% of the time. In my case the day it delivered it was pouring rain and the instructions got soaked and we’re not useable. Fortunately there is a QR code on the front that takes you to their YouTube video which is pretty helpful.(or you can just search for it on YouTube) Also, a PDF copy of the instructions can be found on the lifetime website for this set which is how I pulled it up on my phone. Pretty much just used it when laying out the poles to figure out what poles go where. They don’t really tell you in the video on that step and it’s more clear to read it yourself. One thing that irritated me was there are multiple boxes that come in the crate and they don’t tell you what order to open them and what parts are in each that you need first etc… so I had to open every single box and lay out every single part to find the pieces you need first. As others have mentioned, the slide is a total pain and maybe the worst part overall. Hundreds of bolts. And that’s the first thing you must build. It becomes irritating fast. The slide alone took 2.5hrs. I also didn’t like how you have to drill your own holes in so many of the parts… that’s clearly a cost savings move by them so they can just pull them out of the plastic mold and throw in a box. It adds a lot of time to the build to drill a ton of holes in nearly every plastic piece. This is unprofessional in my opinion, it should really come pre-drilled. Another gripe, the plastic wall panels attach on the inside edges of the pipes, which does hide the hardware and give a cleaner look, but again adds a ton of time to the build because it’s so difficult to fasten this way. If they just attached to the inside or outside face of the pipes, (like the top upper panels did) it would shave hours off the build time. Fiddling with those takes time! Overall it’s a good price for what it is. Kids love it. My hints for you… be extremely careful which bolts go where. Many are identical but ever so slightly different lengths… which can cause you a lot of rework time. Overall the video on YouTube is very well done. Plan on using that as your main source to build this. One feature that is odd is the “staircase” on the side. It’s hardly a staircase, each step is like 2’ high! Kids have to climb and pull themselves up each step, not walk up it like steps. Just something to be aware of. Just have to kinda watch when young ones are coming down them… it’s a big step down!

Swing set it great! Castle is big and sturdy. The slide is fast so we will have to put some sort of cushion at the bottom. Not easy to put together by any means, have help, a lot of time, and patience.

You must assemble on a flat surface and don’t tighten or anchor it till you’ve put everything together including the slide. Uneven surfaces make it difficult to assemble. It’s very sturdy.

Let's hope you don't need parts or warranty trying to get ahold of someone to process is next to impossible. They email but don't answer the phone. Been chasing around parts for over 2 weeks now and still no luck.

Was easy to assemble other than the bottom part where the plastic attaches, pay attention to the orientation, we ran out of a few bolts and washers. Worth it to see our kids smile ! Very sturdy !
