My son bought this for me as a Retirement Gift! Where I live we get LOTS of snow & I shovel by hand. 2 of my neighbors got electric shovels this year & I really wanted one for myself! It will save me so much time & energy! I had never heard of them before nor had my son. Great product!

I bought this two months ago and it find of works, but the plastic auger broke the very first time using it like they expect you to know everything that is under 6" of snow before using it. Then, the handle with the trigger and battery holder broke within the first month, and I taped it up, but it just continued to crack. Within 2 months it has become all but unusable due to cheap plastic parts. Love the way it works minus not being able to change the direction, but completely broken within two months.

I live in Erie, Pa. which sits in first place for amoubt snow in the US. I'm a 64 year old woman who lives by herself so I need something reliable. This would be the BEST EVER if the snow it blows could be directed where you want it. Still a good purchase. Holds a charge, too!

I ordered online. By the time I got my shovel, the snow had set for a few days and had hardened due to melt and refreeze. I believe it will work great the next time when I can get out there while it's still snowing. I live in Missouri. This unit is not heavy duty enough for northern states. It was easy to put together and is lightweight enough for this 64-year-old woman to use!

I am recently separated after a long marriage and am now learning how to do all the things my hubs took care of all these years. One important lesson was that I had to remove the snow from my driveway and walk. Ugh! To make matters worse, I had been living in a southern state for the previous 10 years so snow was not in my vocabulary! In any event, I did eventually have a regular snow shovel, but using it was awful. I shared my issues with my mom, who kindly purchased this item for me. When it arrived, my dad put it together and brought it to my house. THIS THING IS A GAME CHANGER!!!! Yes, I have brothers and a brother in law and a nephew who would shovel for me, but I hate to be the needy almost divorcee! This shovel has changed everything because I am now able to clear my driveway AND my walkway AND my adjoining neighbor’s driveway (who only clears his 🙄) at the drop of a hat (or flake of snow)!! Thank you for making this amazing product. I was concerned by some reviews that claimed that snow would just shoot back on you, especially as I have no warm weather clothes (remember that I lived below the Mason Dixon), but am happy to report that it is NOT the case. It easily moves snow out of the way leaving only a clean surface behind. I AM SOLD! ☺️

I was so pleased at how easy to assemble this snow shovel is. I waited a week before the snow arrived then put it to quick use. It did a fine job on my sidewalk and, because I live on a hill, took a bit more effort on my driveway. Mission accomplished! And I'll rest easier the next time snow is in the forecast knowing I'll have my Westinghouse snow shovel at the ready!
