You plug it in and it has a nice blue light. The inside of the shade is sticky so the light attracts the bugs and when they follow the light they get stuck to the sticky paper inside. It worked so good right off the bat! Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Zebo Flying Insect Trap is easy and safe. It was very easy to assemble. I found it more effective in dark spaces because of the light . I thought it wasn't going to work when I plugged in during the day but saw many flaying insects trapped on it when I check it in the morning. All that is needed to do is change the sticky trap every 2 weeks.
