Great Bug Catcher

This unit does not appear to catch a single thing but dust. I gave one of the units to my daughter for her kitchen and I have one in mine and neither of us over the past 3 days have caught a single gnat or fly. I am not sure if these reviewers get paid for their positive reviews or if they have an exorbitant amount of gnats in their home, but it was absolutely useless from what I see.

We bought this because we always seem to have a problem with fruit flies. And this product advertises that it would eliminate fruit flies in addition to house flies. Had it plugged in for 24 hours and didn't catch one even though I placed it in prime territory for our fruit flies. They advertise that this is what it's for but thirty dollars later , simple fly paper at 50 cents probably does a better job. Also it only caught 3 out of 6 regular flies. Don't waste your money

We were becoming overrun with fruit flies in our home. I purchased this and was so happy that it came with two devices and refills. I plugged them both in and within 24 hours had so many little insects stuck to them. There were more little buggers in my home than I thought there were. I caught fruit flies, flies, a yellow jacket and some other unidentifiable critters.
