UGH! I purchased this about one week ago. I wanted to rate this 5 stars but, no go! These reasons are why: First, the Fries touch doesn't light up as the other presets do. It doesn't respond to touch and believe me, I put my fingers all over this unit. Secondly, where is the Hi-Fry touch? It lights up when I first plug in the unit. Will it magically reappear when the moon is full? I've used this fryer nearly 10 times and I still haven't seen this feature automatically turn on or make itself available for use. Maybe it's just shy. Third and lastly, the minus (lower) touch doesn't respond to touch, either. It's located directly below the Fries touch. If ou go past your desired temperature or time, you'll have to let it scroll on throught until it begins from the lowest setting again. ANNOYING! Now, it cooks wonderfully and you can adjust the temperature, up to 400°, and the time. It's recommended for you to not spray the machine itself with cooking oils and you really don't need to! It cooks wonderfully! Sausages, french fries, spring rolls, etc come out juicy and crispy, despite the missing 'Hi-Fry' feature. It's also easy to clean. I read some reviews where people write about how hard it is to remove and replace the removeable rack. Let me say, the basket is not a perfect square and if you look at the rack and the basket, you'll know how to insert it. However, if it doesn't fit the first try, turn it a quarter of the way and it will insert easily. I had NO problems removing or inserting the rack. The basket is also a nice size. This would be a very nice unit at a great price, if only it worked properly! So, I must decide if Im going to keep this or not. It was only $45 and I don't feel like boxing it back up. I also don't like when a company receives my hard earned money and doesn't provide me with the goods/services I'm paying for. Sigh. Decisions, decisions...I'll probably return it.

I love the simplicity of this air fryer...no bells and whistles...just an air fryer. It cooks consistently, and it's quiet.

This is my 2nd Chefman air fryer. My first one was great so of course I had to go with Chef man again.
