Had a warranty issue 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for LG to contact me with a resolution. The freezer barely freezes ice cubes, has heavy ice formation, while the main refrigerator barely keeps things cold. We have wasted food, and still do not have a plan from LG to repair the refrigerator. The refrigerator is 90 days old.

I purchased this refrigerator 2 weeks ago. The interior and exterior design is thoughtful and well executed. Interior LED lighting gives it an air of sophistication and adjustable shelving gives great flexibility. The unit so far is operating as advertised. Two features should be added to make it perfect, LED lighting for the freezer compartment and more clearance on the bottom of the door so it doesn't hit your foot.

Perfect also to stock up in items so you’re not running to the grocery store every other day (needless exposure to COVID). There is a problem that the door goes almost to the floor. You definitely need to stand to the side when opening. Also it may have 20 cubic feet but shelf arrangement possibilities and the hanging down temperature control unit is definitely in the way. Therefore as an everyday refrigerator not so good.

Had it about 6 weeks. We bought it because it fit in the space provided. It is stainless and not smudge proof or anything close. When you open the refrigerator part you have to duck your head way down to see anything on the top shelf. So, unless you're fortunate enough to be 4 feet tall, its horrible.

I wish the main compartment had a drawer for meat and the door had another shelf. Overall we are very happy with it. It’s very quiet compared to our previous refrigerator.

Shelving , freezer , controls are all in the right place and that really makes a difference. All i say is LG engineering is tops. I'm now replacing my dishwasher based on that fact alone ! I’ve had this refrigerator for about 3 weeks now and am really happy with it. It holds a lot, it’s super quiet, and so far the stainless steel finish has been easy to keep clean. The integrated recessed handles are great for opening the doors, and the doors close securely by themselves. This was not the case with the French-door model I had previously, so I really appreciate this feature. I bought refrigerator thermometers to monitor the temperature of both the refrigerator and freezer compartments, and both areas are consistently maintaining the recommended temps. Something else I appreciate is the the door shelves are so sturdy and can accommodate most big/tall items. I do wish that the refrigerator had a meat/cheese drawer in addition to the crisper drawers, but that’s my only complaint. One quick note: this refrigerator has styrofoam insulation within the cooling vents at the rear of the temperature control unit. At first I thought the installers had overlooked this and forgotten to remove it, but it is part of the unit and should remain in place. Do not attempt to remove it. This should be communicated more clearly in the product manual as I noticed several other inquiries about it online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with my new LG stainless steel ‘fridge. Center handle is great—love that it has no handle sticking out. Plenty of room inside and freezer compartment is a good size. Missed the pullout drawer most of my past refrigerators had at first, but don’t even notice now. So far it’s a real winner! If something negative turns up I will update my review. Installers were great as usual. They were fast, knowledgeable, and polite.
