I’m not much of a wine drinker but this is so good when I’m eating charcuterie. Goes really well when you cook the wine in beef. Love how it gives a subtle taste to the meat after it’s slowed cooked for hours. Definitely one of the more affordable and accessible wine to cook with.

This wine is filled with notes of blackberry and black cherry, which balance with the vanilla and brown sugar to form a symphony in my mouth! I will definitely have to use it the next time I make charcuterie for dinner!

No aftertaste. Paired very well with cheese, crackers and fruits. Also went very nicely with cherry pie a la mode with black cherry ice cream. Would also go very nicely with dinner. Modestly priced. Easy to find in several local stores. Would definitely buy this wine again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi is one of the nicest cabernet that i have tasted. This wine has some hints of blueberry, and vanilla and just a hint of coffee. I enjoyed this wine on it's own and with a good meal. I am so pleased with this wine and will continue to drink it and share it with my friends!

It was a bit dry for me. Personally, red wines are strong for me so I like to pair with food. I paired this Cabernet Sauvignon with ground meat and sausage pasta (White sauce- Bolognese). I also made Cabernet Sauvignon Red Sausage Pasta with my leftovers. Strikingly, this red wine was not as strong as I was expecting. While opening and smelling the wine, the blackberry and black cherry fragrance and taste were dominant. We were able to taste the the hint of oak barrel and vanilla. I would recommend to an oenophile.
