We will definitely enjoy this wine in the future with steaks, beef, and pork . Unfortunately the state store gave us the wrong wine so we didn’t taste the Bourbon Barrel-aged Cab.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the first time trying Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon. I found the color a nice deep red, aroma was fruity yet smoky with a sweet hint. The Flavor was tart yet sweet fruit blend with just a subtle hint of chocolate and a smoky after taste. It pairs well with Beef and Pasta. We paired ours with steak, butternut squash ravioli and French green beans. I highly recommend this wine for a dinner party or any special occasion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wine is very nice. It is very rich with deep berry flavors married with hints of spiced vanilla. The aroma is nice and can smell the hints a bourbon. Overall a really nice wine that will go great with a hearty meal and a chilly night.

I tried pairing it with dark chocolate but that didn’t help much. Just too bitter for my taste. My husband didn’t like it all. Too sophisticated for our palettes, perhaps.

To me I believe it has a great deep red color and it has a strong, flavorful taste (almost too strong) but then gets a little sweeter. The smell wasn't anything remarkable to me, smells like most red wines.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the layered aromas of the Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon by Robert Mondavi. I am getting chocolate, coffee, graham cracker and some lovely smokey aroma. On the palate I get mocha, praline, and caramel with a toasty oak. The bourbon barrel makes this a fun wine to try. I personally love this with a steak or just sitting outside enjoying a cold evening. Totally worth giving a try if you are a fan of Cabs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I took this bottle over my sisters house as we watched the Phillies in the world series, everyone enjoyed the bold flavor of this wine, we had wings and a cheese board with multiple flavors of cheese that just were complimented by the robust taste. would definitely recommend for gatherings.
