[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet is a bold, flavorful wine. We loved that it paired well with pasta and charcuterie boards. I don't usually drink wine, so my taste was a bit different compared to the others tasting with me. This wasn't bad, but not my favorite of the three. Aroma was strong and I really enjoyed that, though.

It paired very well with my pecan chicken and rice. Would definitely recommend, especially with the nice price tag!

We will definitely enjoy this wine in the future with steaks, beef, and pork . Unfortunately the state store gave us the wrong wine so we didn’t taste the Bourbon Barrel-aged Cab.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this Mondavi bourbon barrel aged rum to my nephew.’s house. He prepared his famous rich and meat-filled “Sunday sauce” for dinner. It’s a rich, hearty marinara sauce filled with pork, sausage and meatballs. The Mondavi bourbon barrel aged wine complemented the meal perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay I guess I like this one as well as the merlot. Can smell and taste the cherry and blackberry notes, also has a rich vanilla tone as well as an oak taste. Well 2 out of three isn't bad. I recommend the merlot and the Cabernet Sauvignon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Again for me adding a little ice and I enjoyed this Cab. It had a nice rich flavor. It did not have a strong bitter aftertaste like some cabs seem to have. Nice bottle of red to have in the house and you can't go wrong with the price. We enjoyed our wine with some cheese and meats placed on the charcuterie board I received and it was perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of red wine, especially cabernet sauvignon! This particular one was smooth and easy to drink. Of all of Robert's wines, this is the one I had purchased more than once before. So you know I was excited to review the red blend and merlot to the cabernet overall. There's a subtle boldness the cab offers that makes it a favorite of mine. I truly believe this wine fits very well with a meat and cheese board the best as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Cab was easy to drink and went down with a smooth finish but the flavor of bourbon and Cabernet didn’t blend well together. The aftertaste was not very pleasant and it tasted almost like a cocktail to me instead of a wine.

Tasting it with dark chocolate and room temp is the best way for us. The bourbon flavor really pops with the chocolate and makes it smooth
