[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet was a lot too acidic for my taste. It was harsh and left my mouth with a puckery feeling. Definitely letting it breathe helped. Pairs well with Pepper Jack cheese.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Robert Mondavi Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon is definitely bold. I'm not sure if it fits my palette, but I can sip it. To me I believe it has a great deep red color and it has a strong, flavorful taste (almost too strong) but then gets a little sweeter. The smell wasn't anything remarkable to me, smells like most red wines.

I tried pairing it with dark chocolate but that didn’t help much. Just too bitter for my taste. My husband didn’t like it all. Too sophisticated for our palettes, perhaps.

This one I tried by itself which was great but I feel that this would go great if you paired it with something like an appetizer cheese and crackers.

Subtle notes of bourbon and cherry while packed with smooth, smoky flavor. Great paired with a red meat dish, or alone by a campfire. Great quality wine to share with friends!

We could taste various fruits and a sweetness like candy. It was the wine barrel aging that sets it apart. We will definitely be adding this to our wine list.

The Cab has a nice, hearty aroma. The sweet undertones from the bourbon barrels give the wine a uniquely complex taste. Great wine for the price!

It has the rich full body flavor of a classic Cabernet Sauvignon while bringing through some of the smokiness from the bourbon barrels. I could taste notes of blueberry and something sweet like vanilla. It had chocolate notes in the aroma as well as notes of a freshly backed pie. This wine paired really well with blue cheese as well as dark chocolate.
