[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This variety has such a rich flavor to it. Uncorking, it has a smoky and bourbon aroma. The bourbon finishes through to the flavor notes as well. It's all around a smooth drinking experience. It's a great wine for the price point. We had it with Italian food and it paired nicely with that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bourbon Barel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon by Robert Mondavi Private boasted an absolutely enchanting and intricate flavor profile. The wine boasts aromas of blackberry, graham cracker, brown sugar, chocolate, coffee, and my personal favorite, an enticing smoky smell. The sweet flavor profile of blueberry, vanilla, caramel, and mocha were expertly completed by hints of toasted oak.

We will definitely enjoy this wine in the future with steaks, beef, and pork . Unfortunately the state store gave us the wrong wine so we didn’t taste the Bourbon Barrel-aged Cab.

It paired so well with our Charcuterie board! I think pairing this with a nice steak would really bring out the already very present bourbon flavor.

This particular selection has a robust, intense flavor experience. The black cherry and blackberry lead the way take control of this loaded barrel wine, complementing the vanilla, brown sugar and toasted oak. Definitely recommend this for a casual gathering of friends for wine, steak and conversation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For my second wine, I tried the Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine was not my favorite. It has a stronger flavor, which while not bad, is not my preference. I prefer a smoother flavor. That being said, I would drink this wine again perhaps with some food to see if it gives it a different flavor.

I read that it's aged in bourbon barrels to deliver on the bold flavor which is a nice touch. Overall, it is a very elegant wine and gives off a high-end premium taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bourbon barrel-aged Cabernet had me second guessing what I was drinking. The description was California grapes picked at the peak of ripeness but for me and my guests the aroma was bitter plum with a hint of cherry with a deep red appearance and the taste was dry, slightly bitter plum/cherry with spices. It was over-all a lot better than most dry wines we’ve tried and by the 3rd sip I created a fondness for it. We paired it with grilled foods and pasta dishes which went nicely with it, more so the grilled items. We rated it 3 1/2 out of 5 stars. Note: I am having to post another review of the Bourbon-Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon because the liquor stores said the distributor doesn’t carry the Rum Barrel-Aged Merlot and the Rye Barrel-Aged Red Blend is on back order with no indication as to when it’ll be available again, and this is the only liquor distributor for the nearby counties.
