Wolf Brand "No Bean" Chili 15oz., 6pk.

Be very careful ordering this for delivery. My order arrived in a great Sams box with no damage. Inside was the Wolfs Chili box with apparent damage . One can was so crushed I would not  take a chance opening and consuming, It was an intended gift for a chili loving friend. It was obvious that the pakager at Sams had no problem sending an obviously damaged box.

SPICKY CHILI

There might be meat in this chili, but you would never know it because what you get is just a bland-tasting paste with no chunks of meat at all.

Bland PASTE, where's the meat?

I expected an identifiable ground meat texture in a beanless chili; instead, it has the texture of a sticky paste. Gave it two stars because the flavor is there, but I will not be buying this product again.

Great flavor, horrible texture

Favourite canned chilli. I mix in some Rotel. Good on tortilla chips, fries, by itself… anything really. Calories and sodium a little higher than I would like, but not a deal breaker.

Good chilli

"Neighbor, when's the last time you had a steaming bowl of Wolf branch chili?" <pause> "Well that's too long". If you're over 60 you probably remember that TV ad (in texas anyway). Wolf brand was the best canned chili you could get, Frito Pie (cut open a small bag of Fritos, add Wolf chili top with cheese) was served in our cafeteria and little league games. You couldn't do that now, this is lousy chili paste. no chunks of meat like it used to have. not sure what to do with 5 cans i have left. makes me feel old. i shouldn't be surprised, it' has been too long.

On those days of time crunch this is a great heat and eat, good flavor and just the right amount of heat. We use Wolf as is, use when making enchiladas, chili mac, and use it as a sloppy joe sandwich base. The meat is not that grainy soy stuff either.

Great Chili flavour as well as a great value.
