[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Matt's applesauce, no sugar added, only has two ingredients, apples and vitamin c. Apples are already naturally sweet. And I have never understood why companies feel the need to shove a bunch of sugar in an already sweetened product. It tastes good without all of the additives, what more could you ask for?

I love the fact that this is sugar free & it comes in nice sized containers with grip points. What I don't like is that the applesauce is too thin. I have to run the applesauce through a strainer and return it to the jar in order for my son to eat it without assistance, otherwise it just slides off of his spoon. Once the applesauce is strained we end up with about a half jar.

The pouches are conveniently sized and while you definitely pay more for the packaging, I feel it's worth it in my case. They are not just for kids (though they are great for school lunches), they are also great for busy adults.

This is a fantastic grab and go snack for families, especially if anyone has a cholesterol issue. There’s an entire serving of fruit per 1/2 cup, making it an easy way to make sure your kids get enough fruit. I use it in baking too. I cut out the oil and use applesauce instead. The texture is smooth, and the pouch is super convenient for on-the-go snacking — no mess at all. My toddler actually asks for it, which says a lot! Plus, the ingredients are simple and clean, which I always look for in kids’ snacks. Would definitely repurchase and recommend to other parents.

Shipped with other items. No packaging. Caused severely dented cans of other items. Called the corporate number. Talked to 5 different people. Call time 57 minutes. No resolution. Called local store. Finally spoke with manager. No resolution. Call time 32 minutes. My solution: order one item, wait until it ships, order next item, wait until it ships... Make sure each item is shipped in its own box. My order was shipped from two different locations. So, the problem with shipments with no packaging is not with one distribution center.

The packaging is easy for my toddler’s to open, and thankfully they are a great value because we can’t keep them stocked in my house! I also don’t like gritty applesauces and Mott’s for sure got this texture right!

I feel good giving it to them knowing it’s just naturally sweet from the apples without anything added.
