Beagle loves it!

Our vet recommended we get a dog food with the main ingredients as meat and secondary vegetables, and to try to stay away from grains due to some digestion issues. Our beagle is going great on this food so far. The pieces are very small, she can chew and digest this food easily.

good all around food

I foster dog's so i have multiple dogs and they are always rotating. This food has been easy to tolerate for the new dogs and a balanced diet for the long term. It is available in many different communities making it easy to find when dogs are adopted into their forever homes. On top of that, it is affordable.

Affordable grain-free for a big dog

We have always fed our large dogs with food from Sam's club, both for the price and looking at the primary ingredients. When the vet suggested grain-free food for our Great Pyr, I thought to myself, "Oh great; that's going to be expensive". I was relieved to see that Sam's has 2 choices. My mid-sized mixed breed dog isn't wild about it, I don't think, but he eats it too.

Truer to a canine dietary roots

The family dogs eat this mix better than the salmon with veggie, but I still plan to rotate both into their diet for variety. We add some fresh, canine approved veggies and fruits, and a few occasional treat proteins (eggs, organ meats, etc.) throughout the week/month. Thankfully they've remained very healthy using the MM brand for their 9 and 6 years respectively, with continued youthfulness and no joint issues (which is a common condition after adding in the inflammation causing grains, even rice). It's also been helpful that each animal has remained at a healthy weight; they get their daily recommended amount per body size.

Amazing dog food!

This is the best dog food we have found, both nutritionally and that our dogs love. We have 2 large breed dogs, and they love this food. I can only find it at Sam's Club and I don't know what I would do if it became a deleted item. We go through a bag every other week. This food is so nutritional, and keeps my dogs coat smooth & shiny as well as their nails strong. Every time we are in at the vet they say 'oh your dogs have such a nice coat, what food are they on?' So grateful for this stuff!

Good food for the pup.

I thought I would try a different brand of grain free food for the pup. She will always eat, but I can tell when she likes what she is eating versus just eating because she is hungry. She likes this food, it does not seem to bother her, even though some other grain free brands still bother her. It smells good and seems to sit well with her digestive system. I think it is a good choice for us and we will certainly order more.

Very pleased

I ran out of the dogs' usual food. They love it! No digestive issues when they ate it straight, not mixed with the usual food. Very pleased with that. I plan on mixing this with the usual as one dog is neutral on the usual food. He now eats the blend without throwing a fussy fit.

Good Formula

This is a great product. We have several rescue dogs that came to us in all manner of health status. They all love this food and adjusted to it quickly. We add just a little water to it and it creates a nice gravy for the meal. The pups are more healthy and more regular with this food. One thing to look out for is the bag sometimes rips at the top.

mystery for sure

My dogs are so picky... I've tried all brands other than the most expensive and they always turned their noses up...and refuse to eat it... When I served this to them... they ate it right up...and now about half bag is gone and they are doing well and still accepting this food.... I don't know why.... since I've tried regular and grain-free for couple years now... but am so happy... also very happy that it is affordable for me. And having it sent to my front door is so handy since my age/health makes it impossible for me to handle big bags... but I still buy them due to price being better than the lighter bags. Again, it is such a relief to have something that is grain-free and accepted by my sweet live-ins.... teehee

Good grain-free, wish it didn't contain meat "meal

I buy this product regularly and feed to 4 dogs. I like that it's grain free and the first ingredient is chicken. My dogs like it better than the other offerings Sam's carries and the price is in my budget. I don't like that the second ingredient is "chicken meal" which is essentially the anything else leftover from the chicken that the manufacturer wants to throw in there-- organs, bones, intestines and their contents, beaks, etc. Maybe a wolf would eat it, but a wolf would also be running down its food, and could select which parts to eat. Since it is grain free, I'm cleaning up less in the backyard as well, but I can tell the difference between feeding a higher quality food and this, particularly in shiny, silky coats and clean teeth.
