His favorite is chicken but I thought I'd give him a bit of variety so I purchased both the salmon and beef. I got the salmon because he loves salmon. But not with the Beneful dog food. Now when I give him the salmon he leaves it in his bowl for a while before he eats it. My fur baby is a lab so that says it all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog loves this food. The salmon seems to help with her itchy skin during temperature changes when she is shedding. This food does not have a strong fish smell. Overall my dog loves it and I am happy she enjoys it.

The look on there face an the happy wags when they smelled there there first bowl being poured was just the cutest.We only switched from a different Purina flavor, which they love that one too.The Purina brand is so healthy full of vitamins an minerals our animals need. It even fills them up an keeps them full, unlike other brands.

My dog like’s Beneful, however after I stated feeding her from a new 28 lb bag, she started getting severe uncontrolled diarrhea. After about 75% of the bag was gone I started ruling out causes. Having had a medical career in the past with primary care experience in both military and civilian practices, I stopped feeding her the Beneful and started with an alternative. Within a day the diarrhea stopped, so after four days I gave her another serving of Beneful and the diarrhea returned. I stopped the Beneful and the diarrhea stopped. There is obviously some sort of contamination as she exhibited signs commonly seen in chemical and biological warfare casualties. Please investigate. I documented codes on the bag in case you need them.

Everywhere I take them I get compliments on how beautiful their coats are. I have been feeding my Danes Beneful since 2008 and couldn’t be happier with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the one flavor and size of dry food my dog always lives and when I come back to it he sticks with… yes a picky eater and will sometimes “freeze out” certain flavors or brands for periods of time but sticks with this one for longer times than others.
