Tried 4 times to go to the store and they never had this cat food which my barn cats preferred so I ordered on line and had it delivered I guess so I never waste a trip I will order like that again

Ours was filled with bugs (weevils) and larva. I have had the hardest time getting my cats to eat it, and they have started vomitting and getting really sick since I opened this bag of food, and I just realized today that it was full of bugs and worms. I can't believe I haven't noticed. I've noticed how bad that it has stunk up my pantry since I bought it but I never imagined it was full of bugs. I guess I need better glasses but I didn't even see the bugs and worms until I got really close to the food. My poor cats…. They've been so sick and I never guessed it was the food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Be careful if your kitty has not started out with this flavor of cat food. It will cause diarrhea. You have to mix it with other hard food so their system can get use to it. It takes about a week or two for their tummies to accept it. I worked Animal Control for 14 years. So, I know what I'm talking about. Cat's and kittens never had a problem with Purina Blue bag. We had donations of this flavor and instantly it started causing diarrhea with all the cats and kittens in our facility. That was 5 years ago. For my Cat's and kittens I had to purchase this bag this time because I was low on money and I needed more cat food and this offered 5 lb more. So just be careful when introducing this flavor to your kitties.

What happened? I would buy 6 of these a month for all the cats I care for and suddenly no one wants to eat it!! The ones that did would throw up?! This is for 3 cat colonies and around 40-60 cats so it's not just someone being picky. I would genuinely like to know if the formula was changed because that's all I can think of that might have happened.

I have eight cats and buy this food every month for them at Sam's Club. All eight of my cats like it and all eat it up with no hesitation. I've had hit or miss instances with other foods where some cats will eat the food and others won't. This land and sea adventures flavor is one food they all agree on and enjoy. I also appreciate that the bag is a generous size at 32 pounds which I think is a great value for the price. If I can't get to Sam's due to health issues I'll buy a 30 pounds which bag of kit n kaboodle at Walmart. My cats will all eat it too, but I think they enjoy this Friskies flavor more. As long as they keep enjoying the food, I'll keep buying it. I just want to give them something that makes them all happy and this food is it. The 32 pounds which bag is big enough to feed my 8 cats all month. They always have two big bowls of food to choose from. I have one big bowl in the kitchen and one in my bedroom for any kitties who choose to sleep in the room with me, and the bag lasts the whole month. The food is always fresh too when I open a new bag, and I appreciate that reliable consistency and knowing that I can trust this brand to feed to my beloved cats.
