Best Tires Ever, Money Very Well Spent

I drive a Nissan Rogue 2012 SV AWD w/SL Pkg. I have driven the Premier A/S tires in all types of weather (Wash., D.C. region) over the last six weeks. Without question the best tires I have ever owned. I never realized what a difference the tire makes in the feel of the ride. Very smooth and very quiet. I'm perplexed to read others find them loud! The grip is incredibly stable when stopping and cornering. I am reminded whenever I have to stop short, or if I take a corner a little too fast, when I do not get that sinking out of control feeling. Worth every penny, I am a Michelin customer for life now!!

Can't believe I'm the first to review?

I had MXV4s and my 2011 VW Tiguan was a joy to drive. Butter smooth and bumps were just a thump. I tried to test drive cars as the VW was getting older but couldn't find anything that rode half as nice. At 75k I had to replace tires before the winter and they don't make MXV4s anymore so went with Premier A/S. They ride like rocks. Jittery and loud on perfectly smooth roads, and jarring with the littlest bumps (even just tar used to fill in cracks in the road). Tires inflated perfectly and balanced perfectly, doesn't matter. Bumps literally rattle the car. My neck is starting to hurt again like when I had an 03 Accord.

good performer with low milage

Driving Lexus ES 350 with Premier A/S w/ 27,000 highway miles in Colorado. The tread is 60% off, and it looks like, the tread will be gone at about 35,000 miles vs 60,000 indicated by Michelin. Dry , wet , noise and cornering performance are excellent as typical for Michelin tires in general. Light snow and particularly mushy snow driving is mediocre. I would not take it to the mountains unfortunately! I plan to trade in for Michelin Defender ( more aggressive tread) or LTX ( similar to A/S) to get a better snow/winter performance. Otherwise Michelin please advise.

Great tires! They came as original equipment on our polestar 2. They handle well in all conditions and have a very long tread life

Great Tire

All I ever buy are Michelin tires. I'm replacing my current set of Premier A/S with a new set now. I got 83,000 miles out of the first set on my 2005 Honda Accord I use for commuting to work. I go through tires about every 2 years because I drive a lot, My Honda currently has 430,000 original miles on the original engine/transmission. The tires are very nice to drive with. The tires are quiet, they handle well and they brake well in wet or dry conditions. I'm very satisfied with this tire and that is why I'm buying another set of 4 tires. I know tires and I can recommend this tire.

Pretty good tire 30k so far

I love the mileage wear, the handling in the wet and dry. The wet is almost as good as the old Hydroedge at water displacement, with the nice V rated grip, the Hydroedges didn't have. The siping seems like a brilliant idea, though with the softer compounds, the sipe void does like to embed nails and whatnot into itself. In areas that don't clean the streets as well, these tires will be magnets for nails/debris/subsequent flats (2 so far). This is the main reason I will jump to another tire, based on my driving style should go to the Pilot Sport AS 3, but due to miles driven all the time, am uncertain and await the next release/model.

Don't buy unless you want to replace at 60,000 km

I put these top of the line Premier tires on my Audi in April 2017, now they are completely worn after only 18 months and 60,000 km. The tires seem to work as advertised - but very disappointed in their wear and now I have to shop for an alternate tire

not a happy driver

Driven 30,000 miles and I am miserable. At first, not so bad. But after a few thousand miles I started to get frustrated. I have felt every bump and expansion joint for the last 30,000 miles. Wear is OK, but what difference does that make when you are jolted at every road imperfection. may be able to squeeze another 10k, but these tires are making me hate my car. The Primacy mxv4 that were replaced were a better tire/smoother ride. The wet traction is still fairly good for running 30,000 miles. At least they got that right. Have a set of Michelins on our Explorer and they are great. Just feel these are a poor design.

MICHELIN Premier A/S

I had these tires installed on a 2001 ACURA EL in size 195/65R15 as a replacement for Michelin Primacy MXV4. Premier A/S are a replacement for a very proven and exceptional Primacy MXV4 which I installed on my vehicle in April of 2010. Tire installer actually informed me that there is no reason to replace the MXV4 since they had 70% tread remaining; but I informed him that based on age of the tire (7.5 years and 70,000 km) that I wanted them replaced. He could not believe the shape that MXV4's were in. I am a fan of michelin product. In fact, all my tires have been michelin and I just installed DEFENDER LTX M/S on my 2014 Lexus RX350.
