After driving nearly 3 million miles in my lifetime, Im buying a new set of Mich's Premier.. I have MXV4's now that are gone. Got 55K out of them. Drive a 1994 Chrysler LHS and always had Michelins. Spent years in the Automotive Equipment business and got to see some insider things no one ever see's. Actually in '77, was inside the factory of the "Shoe" Tire Brand and got to see tire evaluation testing first hand. Research department intrigued me while I was watching how they purposely destroy tires on an arbor forced against abrasive wall. They cant figure out how the Michelins outlasted every tire brand. That was enough for me.

Installed Premier A/S tires on my Honda Fit just yesterday. First impressions - virtually no tire noise compared to the previous set, for a small car its a big win. Car runs much smoother. I have always installed Michelins on all my cars and they have performed flawlessly. Great tires Michelin!

Recently replaced all my MXV4 tires on my Lexus LS400 to this Premier A/S. Wow! What a difference. It is quiet, stops well and grips the dry/wet road surface with confidence. Surprised that it also had good traction when driven under snowy road conditions. Highly recommended!

Incredibly satisfied with a full set of Michelin Premier A/S radials on my front-wheel drive car. Previous tire brand showed very poor wet traction when pulling away from stop lights, cornering, and braking. The Premier A/S radials never loose their wet grip under hard straight-line acceleration or acceleration around a hard right or left turn to enter a stream of traffic. Quiet-running, great ride comfort, spectacular wet traction performance...these are hands-down the finest automobile tires I have ever owned.

Most tire ratings and comparisons are done as new. In real life I wanted a tire that performs best from new to end-of-life. The Michelin Premier does just that, with it's unique groove design. Water distribution usually suffers as tires wear and Michelin has found an answer to this issue. Compare this tire at 50,000 km and it beats all others hands down.

Just purchased my 2nd set of Premiers. First set lasted for 80K miles. 67,269 to 147,334. Rotated around a 10,000 mile interval. The old tires were starting to show their age. I still had 2/32 tread depth but wanted new tires for winter. The Premier rides smooth, tracks straight and handles standing water without hydroplaning. I cannot speak for any technical rating on this tire but know a good product when I drive on it. Good job Michelin.

Just replaced 4 tires on my 2013 Nissan Altima SL sedan with 42,000 miles on the factory Michelins which were down to 2/32. The factory Michelins I had were pretty decent although it seems like they wore out a little soon. (and I regularly rotated them) First thing I have noticed on my new Premier A/S tires is how quiet they are and how well they stop. Time will tell on the tread life for this tire. I find it curious the various of opinions on the reviews of this tire. One person claimed to have had a 30% reduction in gas mileage and some others that it was the loudest tire ever. So far so good with mine.

My Subaru Outback is now a year old with 15,000 miles on it. I replaced the OEM tires immediately after purchasing the vehicle and chose the Premiere A/S tires due to excellent reviews both online and in consumers magazines. The tires have excellent wet and dry grip. Since I live in Florida, there is no snow or ice to deal with. They seem to be wearing normally. The consumer magazine says tread life is 85,000 miles. Don't know if I will get that, but I might. I highly recommend these tires.

After getting a sidewall flat on the stock tires while on vacation, we got these in an emergency purchase. These tires are AMAZING in heavy rain--best tires we've ever had on any car in 35 years. Specific to Volt owners: We had concerns about the electric range dropping (as posted on Volt forums), sometimes permanently. Our first 500 miles as the tires broke in were on the generator over mountain highways. However, after 1,000 miles in all road conditions but snow, there doesn't appear to be any permanent difference in the electric range. We got the H version of the tire, and we slightly over inflate to 42 PSI cold.

Initially they were quiet, but after approx. 7,000 km they have started becoming extremely noisy. My wife uses the vehicle and it spends 85% of its time doing highway trips. Michelin have always been my go to brand, but unfortunately this time is appears to be a bad choice.
