Disappointed!

We purchased this laminate during Covid lockdown and are extremely disappointed with it. It says you can mop it but you absolutely can not! Our floor in our den looks horrible. I also agree that it chips far too easily. I would not purchase this floor again or recommend ot to anyone.

Hello, Thank you for posting a review. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Because the SpillDefense laminates have an AC4 traffic rating, chipping should not occur with normal residential use. However, it is still important to protect your floor by putting felt pads on your furniture and trying to avoid dragging or dropping heavy objects onto the laminate. As for mopping, the best way to clean laminate flooring is to use a vacuum or dust mop, and spot clean with a water-based cleaner made for laminate flooring if needed. NO REGRETS!

Absolutely lovely this floor! It was a huge decision for us to make, and after lots of consideration, we took the plunge and bout 850 sq ft. I am so happy with it. It looks fabulous, cleans well, and installed wonderfully. The quality is excellent.

This stuff is like bare particle board!

This is in no way waterproof, not even water resistant! If you have pets do not buy this flooring! It is like a sponge that swells overnight from accidents, and even hairballs! What a total waste of money and time!!!

Beautiful floor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband installed pearl gray Spill Defense laminate flooring on the second floor of our house. It was a great decision, the color is beautiful, the quality is outstanding and the best thing is that it never looks dirty, I just clean it with a Swiffer sweeping cloth to quickly clean it without much effort on my part.

Buyer Beware

I have this flooring in 4 rooms. The flooring is chipping in the middle of the room so furniture is not the issue. Nothing has been spilled and left on it either. A complete waste of money. Even if the company was to replace the flooring, you have to pay to have it installed again. Do NOT buy!

Chipping, peeling or cracking are usually a result of either water damage, dragging around furniture, or incorrect installation.
