There was a recent container change to Folgers Colombian Coffee from “medium dark” to “medium”....and Folgers says the taste and flavor are the same. THEY ARE NOT. We have been loyal Folgers Colombian Coffee drinkers for years and now we are searching elsewhere for a great Colombian taste because the new change is NOT it. It’s terrible!

As so many others have said we have tried many many coffees and being senior's now we stick with the Folgers Colombian Medium Dark Blended. We still like our drip machine since we have had two of the little cup machines and within 6mths they were no good and our drip just works for long periods of time. The coffee always tastes fresh too!!!! Oh and the canisters??? They are so reusable too. There are so many things you can do with them!!!!!!

The 100% Colombian is one of the most chosen flavors of all..What’s best about this variety is the richness of flavor the aroma smells so good.. It’s a stronger coffee so unless you want a strong effect I would avoid using too much of a scoop..Because the 100% Colombian is about strong as an espresso in my opinion an I’m not sensitive to caffeine.. This coffee is very affordable and you do get a lot for the price . The packaging is very convenient you just open a scoop out your desire amount and pour into a coffee filter and turn your coffee pot to brew..

You took perfection and now you have lost me. My father in law tasted your 100% columbian 10 years ago and said it was the best coffee he ever had in 70 years. He drinks it black, no additives. Now we are all looking for a new coffee. This is a stupid as Coke changing their formula to New Coke and thinking we would not notice. Why do you mess up a good thing?

I have been drinking Folgers for all my life. Recently I noticed it no longer says 100% Colombian Roast. It doesn’t taste the same. it’s bitter. The smooth taste is gone. I am extremely disappointed with the new coffee. I may have to try another brand.

We drink a variety of different brands, from dark roast to light roast, and my husband recently brought home Folger’s Colombian. I’m really not a coffee snob, but this tasted like ashtray to me. Or what a ashtray smells like. That’s what it tasted like. I honestly can’t understand why both my husband and I had such a strong negative reaction. Dark roasts are more bitter of course, but ashtray? I need a scientific explanation. Me and my husband are different people so how did we have the exact same thoughts on the flavor?

07/06/24: I only gave it a one-star to get my review in. I wanted to give it zero (0) stars. This Colombian Coffee doesn't smell the same. When I broke the seal, you could just smell the rich coffee aroma. Not any more. This coffee tastes bitter, weak, and no bold flavor. This Colombian Coffee is not a poor product; it's an awful product. I've been a 100% Colombian Coffee drinker for over 40 years. Bring back the 100% Colombian.

I've been buying Folgers Columbian for about a year, brewing it in my Mr. Coffee drip maker using good quality paper filters. The latest batch just clogs up the basket and drains VERY slowly. Once it does drain, the coffee is bitter. The spring valve mechanism is fine, so the fault is with the coffee. I bought two containers and returning the unused. One would think that grind consistency would be the foremost quality imperative of a packaged coffee company.

This coffee used to be my favorite coffee, I am so disappointed now and have several canisters sitting here going to waste. I thought maybe I got a bad batch when I purchased from the store because it did not taste the same, so I went to another store and found out it had the same taste. Something must have changed! This coffee used to have a mild sweet taste to it and smelled wonderful as it brewed in the morning..now it is absolutely horrible and I'm sorry I wasted my money on it!
