August 10, 2026 our air-conditioning went out two days ago, technician said 5 to 7 days to get parts, we needed a small window unit for our bedroom, we bought the MIDEA, 5000 BTU window air conditioner, installs in minutes, and works perfectly, our bedroom is nice and cool. The rest of the house is like an oven so we will live in our bedroom until our air conditioners fixed ha ha kidding anyway this is a good unit.

It works fine but it is insanely loud. I’ve never heard an air conditioner this loud in my life. Will be returning.

Works well . The Analog dial controls are a bit clunky and hard to see but it works great none the less. A remote or digital controls would give it 5 starts

Missing parts when I received it. Parts are on back order. Go figure, were they out of parts and shipped it anyway. Stopped blowing cold air in less than two weeks. Have to figure out how to send it back.

Thank god these were available in store! Our ac went out in our home and with 2 of these running our house (3 bed 2 bath) is comfortable and not at all hot!

Bought two units. One worked fine, the other developed a frightening buzzing sound after about 2 weeks of use when turned up high. Returned the second and got a replacement that worked fine as well. So you have a 67% chance of being satisfied.

This is a really good unit to purchase if you are in a small room. It was super easy to put in the window. Just make sure that you have a second person to help.

Love this thing, got a manual one (temp & fan speed), its being used on a pourch, cools very nicely and quietly...way better than 5k btu frigidaire.. highly recommended

I've purchased several of these units. Not a bad unit for the price. Not sure who is the is the manufacturer, however, these units are IDENTICAL to units sold under many different names. If it last a few years I consider it a solid purchase.

Needed a unit when the main A/C went out. Puts out very cold air and kept the rooms cool until the main A/C could be replaced. Ran it for two weeks non stop and had no issues
