We purchased one of these sets and used it for over a year and liked it well enough that we bought 2 more. Unfortunately it seems like the quality control may have gone downhill a bit with the newer models. The inner area requires some force to get back into the box correctly and we have learned that the ice pack needs to be put into the same colored one each time so we have to figure out which one is which (or I guess we could label them) when pulling them out of the freezer and putting them in the Lunch Box. Lastly, the blue/red Lunch Box & Snack boxes also don't exactly match as the reds differ slightly which is a bit unfortunate.

The problem I had with the regular bentgo is not feeling like ice packs keep the food cold through the thick plastic, so this is the perfect solution. Have used a few times and the kids love them. More space in the compartments than the regular bentgo as well. My only issue is orange things seem to stain the grey area. Once it was carrots and then it was cheddar cheese the next. I assume it’s just a cosmetic issue, but for the price, I would hope they would stay looking nice as well.

Love the boxes! These are perfect for a picnic and for carrying around snacks. Love the matching 2-pack, and the little sections are just the right size. Not the best for a school lunch since the food doesn't stay cold until lunchtime if left outside a classroom in the sun.

We love this lunchbox! We also have the regular kids’ lunchbox and find this one to be easier for our 3-year-old to open independently, which is a plus at preschool mealtime. We also like the bigger compartments of this box! The only very minor downside we’ve found is that the built-in ice pack makes the box sweat a bit but it’s a small price to pay to eliminate the need for an extra ice pack.

We love this lunch box! I was so happy to finally have a good option for keeping my kids lunch cool! The only down side is that it is difficult for my kids to close (mostly just the kindergardener) and sometimes the ice pack can become stuck inside of the try and it takes a little wiggling to get it out. Otherwise, an awesome lunch box option!

LOVE the Bentgo CHILL Lunch and Snack box. The Chill is great because you don't have to deal with ice packs the integrated design keeps food cooler longer. As a mom who works as a food safety professional limiting food borne illness by keep foods out of the temperature danger zone is very important me.

Best set for kids. Large box has a part you remove and freeze so it eliminates the extra ice pack. Snack container is a great size for fruits or anything else. Neither boxes leak so you can have fruits in one sandwich or pretzels not getting soggy from the fruits

A great, study lunchbox. Ice pack is inside, so it doesn't sweat. I did have some issues with the tray getting stuck inside the lid, so be careful when you put it together. Overall, I am buying a 2nd, plus the extra tray to prep multiple lunches at once. I recommend!

Wanted to love but it’s just a like. The latch is a little difficult for my 4 yr old so she prefers her other bentgo. I’m not sure if it’s the ice tray under or what because it DOES seem easier without it in place. I specifically purchased this one though for the ice tray to keep her food nice and cool therefore won’t be using this often.

Love the set for lunch and a snack option. I bought one set for my daughter and one for my son and they both love them. They have used them everyday for school lunch the last 6 weeks and I’ve had no issues. They are easy to clean, I hand wash so I don’t mess up the seal.
