I bought this in October and right away noticed that the brush head felt extra large in my mouth. Thought I'd get used to it but it's now March and I still don't like it. The smart feature with the app is also super buggy and half the time at the end of a session tells me I hit zero areas which makes no sense.

Overall, I’m really impressed with how much of a difference it’s made in my oral hygiene routine. First off, the pressure sensor is a game-changer. It lights up red if I press too hard, green when I’m brushing just right, and white if I’m too gentle. That feedback helps me protect my gums better than I used to with my old manual brush. The brushing experience feels super thorough. My teeth honestly feel like I just walked out of the dentist after every session. It offers five modes—my favorite is the Sensitive setting, but there’s also a Whitening mode I use a couple of times a week. I also love how quiet it is. Compared to my older Oral-B model, this one barely makes any noise. It also looks really sleek sitting on the counter, and the light ring on the handle makes it feel a bit fun too. The app is a nice bonus. I don’t check it every single time, but when I do, it’s cool to see which parts of my mouth I might’ve missed. It gives gentle reminders and tips to help you improve over time, which I think is great if you’re trying to develop better habits. That said, there are a couple of things to be aware of: • Charging takes a while—around 12 hours for a full charge. Not a dealbreaker for me since the battery lasts about a week or more, but worth noting. • Some settings require the app. You can switch modes on the handle, but if you want to personalize everything, you’ll need to go through the app. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Oral-B iO5 if you want a smart toothbrush without spending a fortune. It’s made brushing feel more effective and a little more fun too.

I bought this several months ago to replace a Sonicare toothbrush that had gone bad. First, and last, OralB toothbrush I’ll ever purchase. The head of this toothbrush is huge: appreciably larger than an Sonicare or for that matter a manual toothbrush. Every time I brush my teeth, I end up with toothpaste running down the handle and my chin. Worst purchase ever.

This iO series 5 is fantastic and is the best toothbrush I’ve ever owned. Beautifully designed and easy to operate and comes with a charger and carrying case, with instructions that are clear and easy to understand. Even easier when you download the app, which is optional, but I would recommend. There are five different brushing modes that you can switch to while brushing. A light ring that comes on when brushing indicates when you are brushing with the right amount of pressure - green, and red and blue are indicators of when you are using to much or need to use more pressure. The app is so cool! It connects via Bluetooth and monitors your brushing habits and provides feedback. The tech part is cool, but what I’m most impressed with is how awesome this brush works and how clean my teeth are now. Head and shoulders above any other toothbrush I’ve ever owned.

It's like stuffing a really powerful weed whacker in there that ultimately cleans and polishes your teeth but dang. I like the functionality it has with Bluetooth but it's not really necessary.

The brush head being smaller is absolutely my favorite thing about this tooth brush. I love that it fits in my hand very well and it charges fast and hold a charge for a long time. It has such a clean feeling when you get done brushing...with the different settings like for sensitive teeth is just what I needed. The 2 minute timer comes in pretty handy...the case is nice for traveling and your toothbrush doesn't have to touch anything else so it stays clean and sanitary. Awesome product!
