I bought this several months ago to replace a Sonicare toothbrush that had gone bad. First, and last, OralB toothbrush I’ll ever purchase. The head of this toothbrush is huge: appreciably larger than an Sonicare or for that matter a manual toothbrush. Every time I brush my teeth, I end up with toothpaste running down the handle and my chin. Worst purchase ever.

I love that it has 5 different smart modes to help get you the best clean. Daily clean, sensitive, super sensitive, whitening and intense. The Oral B app lets you sync your toothbrush to keep track with how well you brush and if you brush too hard or not hard enough. I started off with the normal mode and had to switch to sensitive because it was too strong. The app kept telling me to put more pressure on my teeth when brushing. I found it a little difficult to keep looking at my app while brushing because I like to look in the mirror. It will take a little adjusting to get used to the electric over manual but my teeth feel super clean! Way cleaner than with a manual brush.

It does an amazing job cleaning my teeth. The lights on it let you know when you’re brushing too hard and when your tooth is clean.

The lighting system tells you green for good brushing or red for too fast or hard pressure (which I apparently do a lot) so this will help correct me on that. The brushing is very gentle, noise is pretty quite compared to my Phillips Sonicare. Comes with an app for better brushing influence so far it’s been a better change for my routine!

Not only is it sleek and stylish, but it helps me brush better and find ways to improve my brushing habits. The LED light is customizable with the app (yes, an app for a toothbrush!) with a lot of color options. The toothbrush connects to the app via Bluetooth and has a timer so you know when you're done. It also lights up green when you're applying the correct pressure, back to your chosen color when you're applying too little and red when you're brushing too hard. This will be very helpful for me as my dentist tells me that I am brushing my gums too hard and that plaque is soft and doesn't need that much pressure. The only issue I have about this toothbrush is that it doesn't come with a cover to cover the bristles when it sits on the counter. I love the round spinning head, too, rather than a standard rectangle shape.

I have been using the OralB iO5 for over a year now. It definitely gives you a dentist clean feel to your teeth. It has also helped to remove stains from my teeth. The only reason I gave a 4 star is it runs out of charge with no warning and I have to charge it about every 4 days.

Nice clean and fresh feel after using. Quility brush heads and well worth the value. Definitely would recommend very easy on the gums.

The toothbrush is great. I am very disappointed in the app. It worked for a while perfectly, then after the time change it doesn't sync and the days are wrong. I've deleted and reinstalled the app a few times but it still does not connect. This has happened before, then I deleted the app, reinstalled it months later after I go a new phone, it worked for a month, then the time change, now it doesn't work.
