MOLD!!! Ive used this toothbrush for almost exactly a year and up until now, I’ve absolutely loved it. I would clean it regularly and do as recommended to clean and let the parts completely dry separately. I’ve recently taken a deeper look inside the toothbrush after seeing lots of people complain about mold with the io models. MOLD. I’ve been using a MOLDY toothbrush for god knows how long. I will never buy from oral b again. I followed all the recommendations for cleaning the toothbrush and still got mold, so I can’t image how much mold someone might have if they don’t rinse out and let toothbrush dry after every use. GROSS

The toothbrush is great. I am very disappointed in the app. It worked for a while perfectly, then after the time change it doesn't sync and the days are wrong. I've deleted and reinstalled the app a few times but it still does not connect. This has happened before, then I deleted the app, reinstalled it months later after I go a new phone, it worked for a month, then the time change, now it doesn't work.

I bought this several months ago to replace a Sonicare toothbrush that had gone bad. First, and last, OralB toothbrush I’ll ever purchase. The head of this toothbrush is huge: appreciably larger than an Sonicare or for that matter a manual toothbrush. Every time I brush my teeth, I end up with toothpaste running down the handle and my chin. Worst purchase ever.

I am so glad and I feel so lucky to have received these toothbrushes. After using this toothbrush, I decided to stop using my Phillips Sonicare. Firstly, in addition to vibrating, this toothbrush has rotating brush that spins all the way around. So I don’t have to move the brush up and down back-and-forth, I only need to move it from side to side, and let the spin brush do its job and it cleans well. Secondly, it has different modes that fit different oral cleaning needs, such as daily clean, deep clean, sensitive, super sensitive, whitening, etc. And all of these features almost covered everything people need for cleaning their teeth. Thirdly, you can download the Oral-B app and connect your toothbrush via Bluetooth. It has a technology that senses and monitors your brushing habits, including brushing areas, brushing time, and brushing pressure. It generates a report every time you finish your brush and gives you an analysis about your brushing habits and gives you suggestions. Last, but not least, the light on the toothbrush is not just good looking. It also works as an indicator through which you receive immediate feedback regarding your brushing pressure. Red light means you’re brushing too heavily, blue light means you need to put more pressure on, And green light means the pressure is just right. The only thing I wish could be improved though is that the brush head is a little bit too thick for my mouth. I had to put more effort on opening my mouth widely while brushing my teeth. But it’s probably just me because I have a small mouth. Oh, and it also comes with travel cases that’s super convenient when traveling. Overall I love this Oral-B - OralB iO5 . And I will definitely recommend it to my family and my friends. I feel like this toothbrush and it’s technology make me love brushing teeth more than I used to.

The lighting system tells you green for good brushing or red for too fast or hard pressure (which I apparently do a lot) so this will help correct me on that. The brushing is very gentle, noise is pretty quite compared to my Phillips Sonicare. Comes with an app for better brushing influence so far it’s been a better change for my routine!

But this one surprised me. It's soft, lightweight, and gentle on my teeth. I feel like it reaches clean areas on my back teeth that a conventional toothbrush can't. My teeth feel cleaner, and I think they're brighter since I started using it. The battery lasts a long time. I charge it once a week, and it comes with a case for storage. I love it and recommend it.

I've been wanting to take the plunge for a rechargeable toothbrush but was unsure which brand to choose and if the cost would be worth it. After using the iO Series 5 for the past month, I love this toothbrush and wish I had taken the plunge far sooner. The box comes with the rechargeable handle, 1 toothbrush head, a case, and the charger. The handle takes roughly 12hrs to fully charge so I chose to charge in the evening for a few nights to fully charge even though I was already using it. It sits on the charger so do place this on a level surface because it is a bit wobbly. To connect to your phone download the Oral-B app and make an account to save your data. To connect turn on bluetooth and location then shake the handle to link it. I've been connecting once a week to upload my data for every night I've used this as I'm still using my other toothbush for morning use. With the account you can track your oral routine, brush with a guide, pick a color for the ring light, see advice to step up your brushing and track when you need to replace your brush head etc. I can definitely tell after every use that my teeth feel way cleaner and get in and around my teeth much easier so I'm to see what my dentist says next week for my 6 month check-up. I also like knowing that I'm not brushing with too much pressure as the light will turn green for perfect, red for too much and white for too little. Also it vibrates every 30 seconds to switch to the next quadrant and lights uo in a rainbow when you've finished brushing. Extremely satisfied with this toothbrush that I purchased the 9 pack replacement toothbrush heads from Costco last week because they were on sale. Absolutely would recommend so thank you for letting me try this.
