It cleans really well, is gentle on gums, and the pressure sensor is super helpful. The app is nice for tracking, but even without it, its easy to use and leaves your teeth feeling extremely clean. Battery life is solid, and its quiet too, which makes it feel more premium. If youre coming from a manual toothbrush or a cheaper electric one, youll definitely notice the difference. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always had issues brushing my teeth. I'm really heavy handed without thinking about it; even to the point of damaging my enamel. I didn't really even know something like this existed. I've been using the feather setting as my gums are pretty sensitive too, and am elated that the brush tells me if I'm pressing too hard or not hard enough. It's definitely a game changer. I've used Oral-B electric toothbrushes in the past and have found them to have been quality and long lasting. I expect the same of this. My first impressions are that it's sleek and elegant, and easy to intuit without even opening the instructions (I had to look at them eventually to operate the bluetooth and use the app effectively). I really like the black over the normal white. The LED screen/touchpad is really posh looking. Just a really attractive product altogether. I'm even enjoying the storage case that came with mine. The one thing I initially had issue with was the price of the replacement heads. I felt it was pretty exorbitant until I realized there are high tech pressure sensors and whatnot inside the head. I'll just be careful with mine and hopefully it'll last a good long time.

I have been using the OralB iO5 for over a year now. It definitely gives you a dentist clean feel to your teeth. It has also helped to remove stains from my teeth. The only reason I gave a 4 star is it runs out of charge with no warning and I have to charge it about every 4 days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been debating about switching to an electronic toothbrush for a while and I am happy I tried the Oral B iO series 5 rechargeable toothbrush. I had used a sonic toothbrush years ago that was very uncomfortable. The Oral B experience is night and day. The head is small, round, and soft textured and rotates to completely clean each tooth. The sensation is mild and I quickly became accustomed to the feeling This toothbrush has 5 modes to choose from. I started with the super sensitive mode to help me adjust to the change from manual brushing to Oral B micro vibration brushing. It has a timer function that pauses to let you know when it is time to move to your next quadrant. The best feature is the pressure light up sensor that alerts you to apply or lessen pressure until you get a green light indicating the correct amount of pressure. The size of the brush head makes it comfortable to use and easy to really get at each tooth and section of your mouth. I was nervous to use the toothbrush at first but it is easy, pain free and quite satisfying to use. My teeth feel smooth and really clean after using this toothbrush. There is also an app that you can use to track your brushing and progress. You can totally use the brush without using the app, it is just an added available feature. The charging stand has a very small footprint which I appreciate. You can either store the brush on the stand or just use it when you need to recharge it. The toothbrush will indicate when you need to charge it again. I found the charge to last a long time. A handy travel case is also included. I would definitely recommend this Oral B model. It takes a little getting used to, but I stuck with it and I am very happy with the results.

I'm glad it worked for me, it had various modes, and of course, I picked the one for sensitive teeth, I experienced no bleeding so far, and it's been almost 2 weeks. I have not used the app yet, but it's a nice option to have, I'll try it later, I'm still getting used to an electric toothbrush. Also, I liked that the light turns red when you apply too much pressure, a useful feature for me, cause I'm realizing I brush too vigorously, so this feature really helps me to calm down.

I bought this in October and right away noticed that the brush head felt extra large in my mouth. Thought I'd get used to it but it's now March and I still don't like it. The smart feature with the app is also super buggy and half the time at the end of a session tells me I hit zero areas which makes no sense.
