Great cleaning tool!

Excellent toothbrush! I’ve wanted to purchase a newer version of the Oral B toothbrush for years. I recently saw the commercial for the series 7 but ironically went into Sam’s to pick up a script and saw the series 5 on sale. Needless to say I purchased it and it is AMAZING! My mouth feels so clean and fresh. I have not had any of the issues reported in other reviews and I hope that I don’t. I wish I would’ve purchased one more at the price I stumbled on but maybe some other time. Thank you.

We purchased the black and white set, after 1 year of proper use and maintenance the black handled toothbrush began to mold at the rubber piece that is between the head and handle. After cleaning the mold off, it would return after a few days. Tgis is a health concern at this point. Oral B customer service isn't wanting to replace even under 2 year warranty. The toothbrush itself does seem to do a good job but not at the expense of mold growth.

Excellent cleaning, and toothbrush has many options depending on what type of clean you are doing. My toothbrush is atleast 5 years old and battery still charges well. Everything works perfectly still.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oral-B IO series is very nice and doing a good job. The toothbrush has a lot of features, bell and whistles too. This was my first experience with an Oral-B round toothbrush and I’m pleased. The instructing are easy to understand and there is also a phone app for the brush too. My toothbrush came with the device, brush head, charging cord and a carry case. My favorite thing about the brush is the lighted pressure sensor, red too hard and green is correct. The brush cleans like no other I’ve had, especially around my back teeth including my wisdom teeth. It has a two minute timer and beeps every 30 second to change brush position, I found out I wasn’t brushing long enough. The brush does feels bigger in my mouth but, I think it does a better job. The brush has different setting I change between different setting but I prefer the intense and mix with the whitening. My teeth feel like I just left the dentist office, clean. I’ve had no problems with the toothbrush, teeth or gums and it feels good taking care of my teeth and gums properly. I’ve already bought replacements heads and I’m enjoying brushing my teeth.

I purchased this back in April and after using it for 5 months I am extremely disappointed to say I cannot recommend this. The reason I sought out this electric toothbrush was for the pressure sensor due to thin enamel. Well, unfortunately this created receding gums and new areas of concern with my enamel . The green light is supposed to signal the optimal pressure you should be using but feels too aggressive for my mouth. I even tried the sensitive and gum brush heads to no avail. Watched multiple tutorials for correct usage of the electric toothbrush as well. Not only did I waste my money but what is even more devastating is that this product has caused pain and irreversible damage to my oral health, which I will now have to deal with for the rest of my life.

First, the brush head is so thick I can barely seal my lips around it to brush my teeth. I really cannot understand why it has to be so abnormally thick. Also, the brush head has holes in it which does not allow for any seal. Therefore sliver and paste foam run down the head, down the shaft, all over my arms and clothes. There is no way to stop this mess since there are giant holes in the thick shaft. I can’t even really figure out why these ventilation type holes are in the head. Finally. The clean option does not stop after two minutes. No matter the clean or the white selection, the brush just never turns off. I put a timer at the start of the brushing and it’s gotten up to five minutes and just never stops running. I am 100% regretting moving from Phillips. This is a terrible experience every morning and every night.
